one advice to find it: u have 2 ways to do it, 1) destroy sentinel frigate in space(5lvl of destruction) and collect AI module(after use u locate senti ship) OR 2) find Dissonant planet and kill 5 level of ur destruction and u locate interceptor on this planet))

Check in your discovery page, bottom left, if you have a green circle saying you're connected to ODS. Keep in mind that it progresses by the whole community killing stuff, so individual contributions may not be immediately noticeable.

those milestones to scan for stuff that counts towards Wonders are a bit finnicky. I suspect that two different individual creatures may have different values (say a female vs a male), which could explain the same creatures not working for everyone. And only the first one you scan of a particular species counts, so...

no worries. for tech and resources you wantto transfer over, you placec them in the stash at the terminal on the anomaly on your main save, before starting the expd. for the mt/ship, you make sure they are the active ones, then you will need to pay some number of nanites (2800 is typical for S ship) to get copies on the other end

That's more or less impossible to answer. They respawn, for one, but not all planets are guaranteed to have 'em... probably infinite in a planet where you have found at least one. :P

when you start an expedition from an existing save, you get a new expedition version of the save, which has a different starting suit, multitool etc. you can swap between the main save and the expd version of the save at any time. you must stash at the anomaly terminal AHEAD OF TIME tech and resources you would like the expedition save to be able to get; these items are then unavailable to the main save

A great way to get nanites for the milestone is to refine all of your pugneum that you get from fighting sentinels into nanite clusters, and then sell all of the modules you get from salvaged glass at space stations

There is no downside to doing the expedition from the main save. As a new player he won't have much to make the expedition easier going in but he'll be able to bring a lot of stuff back to make his main save better after he finishes the expedition.

If a player is super new, it makes more sense to just make the expedition save their main save when it converts to a normal mode save at the end. It skips the trouble of having to pick a limited number of things to bring back.

Either option works really so its mostly a matter of preference.

They're gone if you use 'em, but if you bring say, 500 uranium, and use 250, you can still choose to bring the remaining 250 back. If you don't, then its all gone.

Why? Portable refiner is very easy to craft. I didn't have one and was able to complete the expedition just fine...barely held me up at all since I was able to craft one in no time.

Fuel mostly. Maybe some hyperdrive upgrades if you can spare 'em. I didn't bring anything and had no trouble getting everything I needed so far, but extra fuel always makes things easier/faster

Just keep in mind that you can only make copies after getting out of the starting system so that you can summon the anomaly, so you can't 'start' with a fully outfitted ship and MT.

I see some folks say to start with a new character, why? Do you get all those items you get in this expedition? Like the shields, weapon, etc. Do you get to keep them when you go back to your main save? That part is a bit confusing as to how these expeditions work. I'm guessing I can go several times with each character if I started a new one.
