sunken freighter is super easy if you nautilon/sonar/scan for sunken freighter

phase 5 will be easy, as long as you've been discovering fauna up until now

32 fauna in one sitting can take a bit

pick up heptaploid wheat and faecium from animals when you get the chance

Just bring up the quick menu and got to your ships, you should see 3 spawnable Iron Vultures.

Though from what I recall some ships can't be copied over from the expedition if a copy of it already exists. I don't know how the game decides this though.

Much of the frustration came from not understanding how the mission tracker can locate objectives. I don't think there was ever a mission to locate specific fauna before.

I appreciate how Adrift created an alternative, more challenging version of NMS bereft of mechanics we're used to overutilizing like shared player bases.

Late reply, but I've finally done the 13th expedition. I just started it 2 days before expedition ended and finished it 4 hours before expedition ended.

I kinda liked this expedition more than the previous one. No one else but myself (aside from the player appearances on planet), not even on the space station, anomaly, or even my freighter (I can still see the NPC names, but they're not there). It wasn't too bothersome without tech shops and upgrades, mainly because I rarely buy upgrades in expedition.

It's hardly a challenge, but the gameplay idea is pretty novel and I like it. Took me close of 4 hours to complete it.

The dreaming missions could've been more immersive than pressing S and clicking though dialogue.

Some of the best lore is conveyed through visuals though. Atlas, leaving galaxies, space anomalies.

Something as minimal as adding a screen effect, unique space effects like when we first spawned in Adrift, would've made a big difference.

While the absence of NPCs and players was felt there wasn't a strong sense of this galaxy being unlike others. Having the nebula effect in the sky of the first planet contributed but they didn't seem to follow through with the idea to the end.

on a planet with sparse sentinels, find a building they guard, or sac venom or sentient plants and bother those

otherwise go to a planet with observant sentinels and pick a fight with any of them

Even if you do the expedition on a seperate save all the stuff unlocked will pass to your main save, right?

That way you have a reliable place to pick a fight

yes, you stash anything from the expd save you want to claim on the main save, in the two stashes, and once back in the main save and expedition done, you go to the anomaly on the main save and get them

Weird thing happened to me I showed up to the first infestation site the brood mother spawned, I had to reload because I was falling through the floor and after reload it didn’t spawn anymore I killed every of those horror faunas and the „infestations alpha“ medal won’t work just saying I have to purge the nearby infestation
