After further testing, that's not it. Hiding the menu disables the portal address, but even with the menu visible, taking a screenshot using the keybind hides the glyphs. And NOT using the keybind keeps the menu strip visible, which ruins the photo.

And yes it’s safe just save beforehand

On expo, use the options menu to switch back

On your normal save, just go back via teh anomaly

The expedition terminal will send you back

Just had a fight with a sentinel capital ship. It disappeared half way through, but the music keeps playing and I can't shake my 5star alert rating. But what's bugging me is that when I try to land on the nearest planet, the terrain doesn't load when I break atmosphere, it stays the "space" version of the planet and there's no land to land on. Which is odd because there was when I landed there 7 minutes ago.....

So I'm learning a bit more about the expedition, and how to maximize rewards back to the main save. What I'm learning is that if you cancel out of adding slots to things, it will actually reward you with the items to add slots, and you will want to export those back to the save. I'm also seeing shenanigans where you can use the import/export of the ship and multitool to duplicate the tech provided that you are exporting a multitool/ship back to the main save that isn't already on the main save.

rest is converted to units a nanites

Oh, and one more tip... if you go with an imported multi-tool/starship, sell ALL the prepacked tech and other reward tech you do not want ot import back to the main save, it's an easy 400nanites if you just sell it.

it's actually pretty easy to pick a fight with the sentinels if you've got a ship that can handle it

just shoot a station, then fly off (so you don't keep shooting it), then ace all the interceptors

Well like if I am approaching certain station they teleport in en masse with whole fleet close to me so I can't easily use Pulse Drive and they shake my screen

Well game does mention in lore some creepy stuff like in Boundaries mentioning smb pulling out their own souls (which is uh morbid), or Korvax destroying themselves to let Nanites to edit brains of Gek, entrapments of characters, killings of Korvax so I would say on those sides it is tad adult
