You know, a YouTuber I watched recently showed me the solution to the hills are alive. Of you just go in your ship and stay low to the ground while the quest is active, it can actually show you if a hill is high enough

To think this whole time I was using the create feature of the terrain manipulator lmao

also note that ship cockpit only shows altitude when close to atmosphere limit , if lower than that it will show latitude/longitude instead

space anomaly, construction research station; agricultural tree; unlock hydro trays/large hydro trays, + frostwort. plant 6 frostwort. if you complete phase 4 milestone 6, you'll have 15 salvaged frigate modules, with which you could unlock freighter double grow room for example, and grow there instead of using trays.

I'd just start with the first milestone.

If you look at the milestones on the expedition menu it tells you what the rewards are for them. You can sort of plan out your trajectory with that.

Rendezvous 1 is killing me. I am at +19, -42. I see the symbol while in my ship. But when I'm on foot and using the sweep scanner, it says that I am 1600u away.

its just a checklist and sometimes you gotta do them out of order, at least often times they will reward you with things to help with other tasks out of order

and theres also tasks you'll often do accidentally

My 1st expedition, I spent hours making farming bases, only to find out the stuff wasnt needed to complete the expedition

Saying that, it was the 1st expedition, and noone knew what they were doing

so basically you need to read all the rewards and plan the order

anytime theres a "expand your base" task, I place a stack of wooden planks

Well I read ojectives and see what I can do along the way

Like scanning animals, plants, rocks objectives can be done on any planet

Or there is the farm plants 1, so I look out for frozen planets to get Frost Crystals and Dioxite, to make the frosty plants that only take an hour to grow, and I make a base on a frozen planet and just plant them in the soil of the frozen planet

with the exception of consumables e.g. void egg, quicksilver purchases are unlocked account wide, so yes, whatever you purchase with the qs earned in exp11 redux will be available to claim for free in your other saves under the same account

How long did it take you? I think without waiting for plants to grow, I spent 6 hours, but not a solid focused effort

Expereienced players just know where most of the quest items are, so they have a quicker time hunting/gathering

I stuck around the starter and 1st rendezvous' systems for all and figured I'd base build toward the end. I forgot about the time farming would take though.

Yes, you can. Go to the Anomoly and see the Quicksilver Vendor to claim previously unlocked expedition rewards. I just checked and the Golden Vector I unlocked is available. Of course it costs 1,400 Nanites to purchase it...
