i like to be able to warp from one rdv system to the next whenever it's "humanly possible", so i took a slightly different route. upgraded my starter ship with a b-class hyperdrive mod bought in the starter system, that let me reach rdv1 with a single warp. for rdv2, added another b-class and an a-class hyperdrive mod. for rdv3, swapped out that worst b-class for an s-class module. and that's where i'm at atm.

  all replaced under warranty due to failure of psu

note: if you get weird module failures all over the place, its probably the psu throwing bad power into the system

• find an ancient ruin using the alien cartographic map.
• find a planet with ancient bones, dig up the natural burial site.
• find a submerged ruin. (needs Nautilon High Power Sonar) -> this works, and also completes Gold with Sand milestone

if you fly around with the milestone selected, you can view the height of the mountains from the comfort of your ship. that way, you don't have to land on a planet every single time you want to check a planet for mountains

that way, when you find a planet that exceeds the required height, you can just land on the peak of the mountain and complete the milestone automatically

• random crashes, especially in 2nd Rendezvous system. mostly reported by Xbox players.
• incurring / sustaining damage when using the multitool or terrain manipulator. current workaround is to turn off PvP and transfer to another planet. occurs mainly in starting system Oishida
• Corrupted Blood milestone not properly recognizing correct discovery. the milestone recognizes creatures with higher level than required by milestone.

We encourage everyone to file a report to Hello Games for these issues. Provide screenshots when needed. Give detailed issue to better understand the current situation. The more people reporting about the issues, the higher possibility for it to call their attention. For details on where to report, run !hg in #bot-spam.

i also completed deep freeze milestone on that same planet, first landing on the night side did the trick. just get on your ship, and go for the highest peak you see, and land your ship as close as you can - some are okay to land on even at the top (just make sure you got enough launch thruster fuel to take off again after - i did the base milestone here as well)

Storm Crystals can be obtained from extreme hazard planets. Extreme hazard planets have Activated <Stellar Metal> (e.g. Activated Copper) in their resource list.

Exception: Lush biome planets (Star Bulb on resource list) do not spawn Storm Crystals.

Land, and start looking for the nearest Storm Crystal spawn. They will be scattered across the landscape.

Storm Crystals can only be interacted with and harvested during an extreme storm, but are easy to spot, and the on foot visor can assist as well.

I started the Expedition yesterday..... i log in today and i have The Sentry following me around... Ive not even touched any mission relating to it and i cant get rid of it lol Anyone else have this??

I've found a way around the bugged corrosive blood milestone that will work for anyone with access to a save editor. This bug happens because if you find a creature on a toxic planet that has a pH above the threshold first, it locks that one in and doesn't register any creatures with lower pH's. So if you find a creature with say pH of 3.5 and then you find one that is 1.9, it won't register the 1.9 because the wonder registration has a bug and doesn't realize lower pH is better.

If you have already found a higher pH creature on a toxic world, you can edit the raw json in a save game editor and go to PlayerStateData/WonderCreatureRecords/[8] and paste in this JSON:

That will clear it. You still have to find another creature that qualifies. Anytime you find a non qualifying creature that still registers in the wonder, you need to repeat the process.

ok, here's a dilemma. i have network disabled during the expedition, but apparently between when i saved, and when i continued playing again, somebody built an outpost inside a trade outpost. in the past, reporting a base just made it disappear, but now it also wants me to take a sshot for the report.
i don't really care about reporting the base --it's not offensive or anything, i just don't want it in my way. a) is there a setting i missed and b) report anyway?

the milestone asks you to harvest 18 crops that you grow yourself (or from other bases)
I recieved my crop recipes from the anomaly after collecting some salvage data
i recommend farming only frostwort as those take an hour to fully grow (the fastest time)

i managed to manip my way underwater on the rev 4 planet to 78.xu depth

got down close to that using the minotaur - no oxygen needed or anything except power for that underwater, love it - then, pop out, mine (you can collect from inside it too), then swim back to it to get back to the top

and it would have worked if the bedrock hadnt stopped me at ~79u

X class is best, I pull 1.7 mill per scan on my main account

Also the event is in the same server so with portal glyphs you could go to the event systems with your main account and set up the harvest plants milestone

And find a portal for the portal milstone

okay so Ive tested it and yeah the corrosive blood quest is bugged, here's how it works:

The quest asks you to scan a creature of a blood pH level of 2.5 or lower. now if your first toxic creature is 2.5 or lower, congrats, you got it. HOWEVER, for some reason, the Wonders tab actually see's higher pH level as a new record, despite higher being less toxic, so if you first scanned a creature who is higher than 2.5 you cannot finish the quest in that expedition. you are softlocked until they fix it or you restart, as it will only update the number if you scan a creature with a higher pH level, despite the quest wanting a lower pH level. Its a seeminlgy very silly mistake, but an annoying one nonetheless. Hopefully they fix it soon.

My personal expedition is stuck here, I have done everything else but my Corrosive blood quest has its highest record as 4.3, which will not update unless I found one that is higher, it was at 3.9 yesterday until I found a less corrosive one? it really just seems like the devs made the classic mistake of thinking that bigger pH meaning more toxic, but then the quest knowing that smaller pH is more toxic, causing the quest and the way the system markes wonder creatures just... not work unless you get one below 2.5 first. its especially annoying to me because all I really wanted was the damn creature egg haha.

I started the expedition last night and never had such a buggy experience on one. There was a freighter fleet inside one of the planets, it started randomly giving me Outlaw points and making me an enemy of the Vykeen. hopefully the PS5 patch that came out today improves things
