You should have looked at the broken parts, made them at the base, and then set out.

Not to mention, 3000u on the Nomad is barely 4-5 miniutes. Game gives you the upgrades.

Don't give up. Make Make your base, Install the visor. Use the visor to look for copper deposit. Refine Copper to chromatic metal.

Go in the menu, and select the expedition task you're working on. Go to the log to make sure the task/mission is selected and then go back to the game. If the task/mission has a marker, it will show up.

Strangely I found this one fairly easy to do alone, the only difficulty is sentinels on planet 3 but with the warning you can the majority of the time outrun their range before they notice you, just make sure to manage resources

Do the sentinels reactivate after turning them off? I turned off on planet 2 then saved, quit, and loaded save, then they were back.

Use the cloaking thing you got rewarded, or dig yourself in by digging a hole with the terrain manipulator.

I mostly went underground all the way on that planet. Just digging tunnels to get to where I needed to go.

Haha. I did tunneling as well. The cloak didn't work for me. They still saw me when I stood still or used it and walked.

Sentinels can't catch you if you are on the constant move though.

Tunnelling worked in all the previous expeditions as well. You get so many silica by digging, so keeping the manipulator full power is easy

Ok gents, I renamed and uploaded my second planet base. It's near like 3 or 4 copper deposits. So you can mine it like crazy.

The store in the base Alps has a Sentinal Pillar Locator thing.

So you can buy it and find the piller shit off those sentinals
