Long story short, trying to find a system where Arasoeh's Gamble OG7 spawns. The portal glyphs on the ship page, the system page for the ship, as well as the planets for said system, all lead to what appears to be an unrelated system where it doesn't spawn.
Any chance somebody can point me in the right direction?

@C4t give nanites to traveler in space station 150 I think he point you towards a grave. Once you get first two look this up in reddit for single planet with all 16 glyphs with the portal address only needs the first two glyphs

Q: When/how do I use the coordinates for a living ship I found online or just find a nice living ship? (For your first living ship.)
A: After getting all the organs/parts (ie after gathering Traveller souls from graves and using those to make the final part), you will be directed to return through the portal. Once you return 'home' or wherever you came from, you should (before entering your ship):
1. If you're using an online source, dial the desired coordinates into your portal and go through. If not, you can just skip this step.
2. Make a manual save nearby with a save beacon or save point.
3. Get in your ship, where you will receive a message with the location of a crashed living ship.
4. Go to the given location, and if it's not the one you're looking for, reload the manual save you made. You can use the analysis visor to look at the ship stats so you don't have to go through the dialogue every time.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you get a desired ship (you're done!), or until you exhaust the system ship supply/want to try a different system (go to step 6 (coords-based) or 7 (jump/teleport-based)).
6. If you want to try a different system via coords, you can simply reload your manual save, enter the desired coords in the portal and go through, then go back to step 2.
7. If you want to try a different system via jumping or teleporting, you can reload your save and get in your ship, ignore and/or reject the message (it will continue to spam you until you accept it) and warp/teleport to another system. Then you may land on a planet/moon (ship pools are system-based, not planet-based), and go back to step 2.
Note: Sometimes during this process you will start getting regular ships at the crash site. If this occurs, close and restart your game, you should get living ships again (at least a few in a row until you have to restart the game again).

Any S-Class ship should give you at least 1 Storage Augmentation when scrapped; some ships give them even at C class. The thing is, each ship model will always give you the exact same stuff as scrap, so you can catalog a system to find which ones to keep an eye out for.
I found a solar ship that gives 3 Storage Augmentations plus 6 (SIX!) S-Class upgrade modules - really nice for nanites.
Downside is you have to wait around for a while.

If you buy and scrap non-hauler S-Class ships you see while in a station, you'll end up with lots of Storage Augmentations over time. I have like 90 right now 😛

Fighters and Solars are also really good for getting nanites as you can sell the upgrade modules you get from scrapping.
Although some Solars give as few as 1 upgrade module, and most tend to give 2 or 3.

S-class freighters can be found in high (and I believe medium) economy systems. rare, but possible. And a reset (as long as the economy stays the same) should not affect that. They can be found in fight situations, too.

sweet! is that in the Euclid galaxy (where everyone starts)? asking since coordinates are dependent on galaxy which newer players may not know. so when you post glyphs, make sure to always let players know if it's in Euclid (or whatever other galaxy you may be visiting in the future)

I hunted for about 6 hours yesterday and didn't get one. Short bursts sounds way better.
Also make sure you're docking at the space stations to look for S class multi tools, nice ships, S class upgrades and upgrade your inventory if you need to do any of those. Being in a 3 star economy can make it easier to get all of that done alongside it.

Your first battle and offer will always be a smaller system freighter
After that you will get the large ones in battles, every 3 hours of gameplay and 5 warps (except in expeditions)
So, you need to do the first and either accept or reject it - until then reloading will just bring the system freighters.
If you decline it, your next will be offered free as well

Glyph Coordinates Guideline
If you post glyph coordinates for a ship with the intent to share its location for other members to acquire it, we encourage members to specify as many helpful details that other members can search in this channel, including: galaxy, type of ship (e.g. interceptor, solar, exotic, living, fighter, explorer, hauler, shuttle) and main color -- ship parts are not required but not discouraged.
Run !Faq-ExplorersArchive in #bot-spam for additional guidance on how to post coordinates that help other players find your posts in the future. We also have a !coords command that facilitates posting coordinates with emojis here -- use /noembed for easy copy-paste.

Solar Ships are supposed to feel that way. They have a tech that only exists on them called (wouldn't you know it) Solar Sails. These allow less pulse drive fuel use and pulse drive recharging (or launch thruster recharging, idk). They also increase Speed and Maneuverability.

For Solars, these are the base stats I have seen so far when viewing a ship with the analysis visor after upgrading the ship to S-Class with nanites:
Damage: 176.4 - 216.2
Shield: 182.7 - 205.9
Hyperd: 126.1 - 135.9
Maneuv: 389.1 - 442.9
That's based on data from 150+ ships.

Btw, those stats are for ships that I've upgraded to S class with nanites - stats will vary for ships that spawn in.
So if you find a ship you really like but its stats aren't so great when you upgrade it, you can try waiting around for it to spawn in S Class and hope you get better stats.

@thin relic Shield can hit 206.2, Range 136.0, Maneuver 445.0, and Damage Potential 245.6, but that last isn't its core value, it's the base stat with unupgraded Photon only equipped.

You trade your ship to an ai at like a trade station or outpost, then the other player buys the ship from that ai

It rerolls the ship, so unless it's an exotic or living ship, it will almost always have a different class. Any added tech does not carry over.

Solar ships are the most part located in Pirate systems..

Finding Outlaw Systems
Requires economy scanner or conflict scanner installed on ship.
In the galaxy map, look for systems with a small pirate skull left of the Economy type icon and identified as Black Market, or with Conflict level set to Pirate Controlled.

@violet lance The original Rasamama aint what it once was - this is how it looks now with legacy colours enabled, in modern colours it's got orange wings with red accents.

In pirate controlled systems you get many lower class spawns, they can spawn in any system but it will be limited to one solar ship model per system afaik
I used planetary trading stations in pirate controlled space, but be prepared to find your station attacked often by pirates

Crashed ones have either disappeared or something else has taken its place (like buildings) first waves are not first waves anymore. And some planets have changed entirely meaning stuff on the planet is different.
