All sentinel ships in the same system will have the same design, so locating multiple ships in the same system will not give you more chances at finding a different design

Tank feat are a visual feature that some designs have, if a system's sentinel ship does not have tank feet then locating more ships in that system will not change that

I don't understand how the stats work on ships, I only see the numbers like the one in this image and they don't line up with in game examples, I have a B-Class Interceptor that upgrades to the stats in the second image and it seems that every stat is higher than it should be in game

A ship with a square layout is so unlikely that you should not worry about that at the same time as visuals

It also doesn't have much of an advantage over regular layouts ime, putting all your eggs in one basket doesn't have many benefits

You can buy those from Autophage Synthesis Terminals after completing the mission They Who Returned, they're called Rebuilt Exosuit Modules

They have identical stat ranges to the sentinel/forbidden modules

They're basically just 3 more of those

That guide isn't very useful since it has a few modules that you cannot earn unless you started your save in an expedition from 3+ years ago, mainly the Visceral Synthesizer and Archive Override Implant

It's also missing newer technology added since Echoes, like the Exosuit Summoning Station and Nuetrient Ingestor

I have been searching for S-Class living frigates with the NMSCE and got 4 S-Classes in a row but am now having trouble, I have been searching in one system that should have an S-Class and found a C-Class and 3 B-Classes with the same name as in the post and I'm just double checking it is meant to be random chance and not that something broke the system since it was uploaded?

Stats and sc slot configuration i believe depends on the combination of parts used and the station. The only way is trial and error, unless someone has posted a station location with the exact parts you want to use.

If anyone’s interested in these, I can get the glyphs, but I found two of these within 10 minutes in the same black market space station. I found the first one, warped to a neighboring BM system to buy more tech, then when I returned to where I found the first ship, a second pulled in after two minutes of being there.

I’m still fairly new, but this is the first time I have seen these without any type of top wing.

I don't know where it is exactly cuz I'm not the one that found it but if you get a frigate AI fragment which is by destroying a sentinel frigate if you go there and use the AI frigate fragment possible chance it should take you to that said ship to get the fragment all you got to do is go to a space station shoot it once and fight the Sentinels until the Sentinel Cruiser pops up and you just destroy it and it'll give you the fragment after defeating it

You can upgrade all ships to S-Class with enough Nanites, or you could find higher class crash sites in the same system as them

I submitted a request for custom key binds on the switch platform with their new pro controller because I wanted to custom bind one of rear grip buttons to switching between third and first person

I saw something about now being able to store ships in the freighter now? Assuming that’s true how many can you store and how many can you have active?

You can have up to 12 ships active at any time, available to summon and swap between, and also an extra 18 in your Starship Archive, accessed aboard your Freighter, at the Fleet Command terminal

You can archive and un-archive ships immediately from that menu, and archived ships can't have cargo in them, but their tech inventory is safe and archived with them

shows dissonant coords at the end, and the corrupted dogs have a chance to drop echo locators, the thing that helps locate resonant camps

There's a way to give the ship to someone else and keep it at the same time

What you do is get out of the ship right when an NPC lands and trade ships with the NPC as fast as possible, then wait until the other person buys the ship from the NPC and reload a restore point

Having a freighter at all is much more important that having a high-class one, and freighter class is incredibly unimportant to most people

It just affects warp range (you can summon it to you from infinite distance for free), fleet coordination (for frigate expeditions) and max slot upgrade count

I personally enjoy having one with and one without for almost all my ship variants so I can use one as a proper fighter ace and the other a tank, the less speed and maneuverability makes the steering feel wider like steering a boat but its a nice clunky / heavy aesthetic that really makes it feel like a tank xD

How does one find the rare ships that actually look interesting

I know about nav or planetary data and that’s how I’d used to try it but it was such a huge grind

It depends on what ships you consider rare, are you referring to exotic type ships?

These are by definition "the rare ones" since they spawn as 1 out of every 301 ships in any inhabited system, with the squid shape being 1 in 20 of those
For these it would be significantly faster to find them at a trade outpost and purchase them, since you could see 5 ships at a time every minute or so, versus seeing one ship every like 2 or 3 minutes finding crashed ones

The living ship mission is a little bit of a grind, but not really, and you only have to do the tedious mission once for your first living ship

You begin the mission by buying a Void Egg from the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion aboard the Space Anomaly

Rewards are exclusive to certain expeditions, rewards are not chosen randomly from existing or past rewards each time an expedition is available.

When expeditions become available they are a new expedition with entirely new rewards and mechanics, the only time repeat rewards are available is when expedition reruns occur.

atm based on patterns, these reruns only occur at the end of the year and only feature expeditions that occurred that year, there has only been two occasions that expeditions outside that year have occurred again.

For what you are asking it is highly unlikely the Normandy or its expedition will rerun, likely due to the rights on the mass effect ship.

not an assured fighter, but makes it much easier to find crashed ships

you might need to unlock the minotaur bay as well, so make sure you take around 10-15 salvaged data, go the the construction research terminal, between the starship and exosuit NPCS, and just unlock that

Your ways of getting it back would match the ways that players who don't have the ship would get it, like save editing, modding, service bot etc
