Hi, I'm trying to get this dreadnought, the problem being that I leave the portal in a system (I don't even know if it's in this system that there is the cargo ship) but as a result I try jumps, and I never have a fight in the system where there is the portal (maybe because I visited it?) on the other hand on another pirate system nearby I always have a dreadnought fight (and it's not the good one) what to do? Can battles spawn in a previously visited system that did not have battles?

Yes, battles can spawn in previously visited system as long as it's your 5th jump to that system. taking portals does not counts as jumps, and some pirate systems always triggers a dreadnought battle, which is the case happening with you

make sure you're warping in from galaxy map after 3 hours and 5 warps, set a spawn point in a different system because a high rank isnt guaranteed.

I repeat the save + jump operation in the target system nothing. And when I try on another pirate system I systematically have a dreadnought battle

they can. if you're only after a pirate dreadnaught, you can just choose to fight any of the ones you stumble on. just because that guy found an S class one doesnt mean you're guaranteed to find one in the same system

So I went back and forth to see if the ship spawned or not, I got nothing so I did 5 other jumps nothing, I went to another system and I waited for a while

After I saved, I went to a random but pirated system and there I had a dreadnought, so my timer and my number of jumps to trigger the event was good, so I reloaded the save just before and I jumped to the system which is supposed to be the good one and nothing

all i can recommend is sitting in a neighboring system for a long time, only warp to the desired system and then reload if it doesnt spawn. dont warp to other systems in case that one uses up the dreadnaught spawn

some systems will have a guaranteed dreadnought spawn whenever you warp in

just try to avoid warping to any other system, only warp into that one and just reload if nothing happens

I think the reason I dont like living ships is becuase the fuckin ships from halflife fucked me up for a while

but I will admit the expedition ship looks nicer than normal living ships

1: They take a long time to get
2: They are very difficult to upgrade
3: Their unique perk, infinite hyperdrive range, isn't really useful, as a well-upgraded starship or freighter has more than enough hyperdrive range than is really needed.

make sure ur in the right galaxy and go to the coords, if its a regular ship (not a crash site, interceptor, living ship) then yea u can wait at a space station or land near a trading outpost, look at the ships flying in, reload save to get a new wave to spawn in, repeat. trading outpost gives more ship chances faster

The problem with Living ships, is that they dont use the same upgrades as regular ships, they have their own upgrades. AFAIK and I may be incorrect as I havnt flown aLiving ship for a long while, the best upgrades that can be got for living ship are s class, wheras with regular ships you can use X Class, so they potentially are going to be always behind in stats. However, I guess most people dont do the X Class lottery, and only use s class modules, so not a big difference for them. There arnt I believe as many different weapon types for living ships as well as there are for regular ships

My Personal opinion, they aint worth the week long quest to get them, but I believe everyone should do at least once.

Sentinel Interceptors, Pros: Good base warp distance, decent fire power, quick in a straight line, can hover while in atmosphere, easy to get, easy to fuel. Cons: Feel like turning a hauler if not using boost as their turning ability is related to boost.

easiest way, but might take some time, is when you find a dissonant planet, look on planet for dissonant resonator and shown in picture. Look for one that drops an Echo Locator, but you will aggro sentinels, you can cloak or run and lose aggro. You can then use Echo Locaotr to find Harmonic camp where you can then use computer at camp to find sentinel ships.

Was star hopping, came into this pirate system and had to fight a dreadnaught, went to claim my reward and came back down and found this cool sail ship. All white with round blue sails in Euclid. Went to a trade post and reloaded like 15-20 times and the S class popped up (saw on the 5th but it didn't land). Upgraded the Tech slots and as you can see the supercharged slots are all right next to each other so that is cool. Time to upgrade. If you like it have at it and enjoy!!!

Because normally when you input glyphs wrong it just tells you that it couldn't read your glyphs correctly and approximates a destination

I stand corrected. I went to a portal to test the "travel to a galaxy core" glyphs and got the same error message. So my guess is you input one or more incorrect glyphs for the planet you were attempting to reach

Ahhh. Ok that's the problem. Those glyphs were from photo mode and are for that particular star system as a whole. Not for that specific planet. So putting them in would likely just drop you on a random planet in that system

I mean you don't have to. It may not put you on the correct planet but if it's in the same system you can pulse to the planet and follow the coordinates to reach the ship anyway

Possibly but It should be the same at every portal and if you've got all 16 glyphs then you have what you need to reach it

Ohhhhhhh. Nope. My original assessment was correct. You can't reach it because this is a purple system. So you'll have to finish the Atlas questline and unlock then complete the first Autophage questline in order to get the "In Stellar Multitudes" quest which will unlock access to purple systems @dry locust

Well it's not black and blue. Orange, black, and white but it comes with a T shape tetris SC layout. And this one I found before purple systems were a thing so you should be able to access it

I updated the base name to "T Shape SC Layout @ S-Class" and also left a save beacon by it to help make it easier to find

Just keep in mind it is a natural B spawn so it'll be a bit costly to upgrade but worth it for that layout

It's possible the destination is a purple star system, it won't let you portal to a purple star system if you havnt unlocked them yet. This is why when posting, people should record if its a purple system.

It will instead dump you in a nearby system

ex. I gave myself all iron vulture parts, but only after doing the expedition and salvaging one because i wanted the whole ship

but i wouldn't go giving myself ships that i don't own (ex. i have a golden vector but it was traded a long time ago)

i also found a sentinel im pretty happy with, pictures not taken on original planet because i didnt want the purple colorshift, the planet itself is actually pretty cool aswell, gravitational anomaly one, it also doesnt try to kill you constantly, but rather is helpful with the occasional lower gravity allowing more use of the meele trick

Sentinels are crashed.

But mission for first one says it was repaired by someone but that someone didint finished.

For some reason all sentinels onwards have not damaged slots.

you do indeed have to repair sentinels but theyre wayyyy cheaper and quicker to repair than usual crashed ships
