That's wise they're not great because you're limited to only 3s class upgrades on everything however if you can get used to utilizing the vampire beam weapon to maintain your Shields then they are pretty top-notch.

Trade ships? Both fly to a space station. If I'm giving you a ship, i trade it to a random NPC for their ship. The NPC will then appear at my ship. You then talk to the NPC and buy the ship from them for 0 Units.

Space station is now a pirate outpost but it still spawns in 1st or 2nd wave. Just hop out when you dock there and reload your auto save. S class white squid

well, each solar system have 1 exotic ship (royal, mosquito, guppy) and a very low chance to have a squid

finding one is based on luck (you randomly find it) or a long waiting game where you identify the exotic ship of the system

Before meeting up with your helper, you should have both the ship to be reskinned and the skin ship in your possession. Your helper needs to have an open ship slot.

1. Meet up with your friend at an inhabited Space Station in a system where neither of your Freighters is present, you want to arrive flying the skin ship.
2. You exchange the skin ship for an NPC craft, so your helper can Claim it at no cost. They MUSTN'T interact with the ship after Claiming it.
3. If not your default, land on a planet (not freighter or Anomaly), summon your ship to reskin and return to the Space Station.
4. After you exit ship and save, your helper hops in the ship they arrived with, takes off, and summkns their Freighter IMMEDIATELY when they gain control, or as close to it as possible, and lands in it.
5. Provided the summon wasn't too slow, the skin ship they claimed will spawn on their deck, BUT it will still be visible to you, parked in the SS.
6. If done successfully, you can now hop in to the abandoned shell skin ship without any NPC or player interaction. Doing so should give you the message Primary Starship Switched, because you're NOT claiming a 2nd ship. When you hop in, you in effect SWAP shells, bringing the Class, unlocked Slots, installed Tech, and Bonus rolls from your original ship. Check to make sure.
7. Until you leave the system or quit current session, the husk of your previous ship will remain parked at the Station. BE CAREFUL, because the reskin glitch remains active. Hopping into the husk will reskin your currently active ship. This means a) it's possible to undo the reskin until you quit, b) if you switch to a different active ship, you can reskin it in your previous ship's husk, whether it be one you aleeady own, or one purchased/claimed insystem, and c) when session ends, whichever ship is currently the empty husk is destroyed. After successfully reskinning, best practice is to immediately create a Restore Point, then fly out of the Station and create a 2nd Restore Point by landing on your Freighter. The dual save isn't strictly necessary, but some variations of this glitch over the years did require it in order to stick - I just stay in the habit of the 2x save in case the next update alters the glitch again to need it.

Important to remember:

1. Because slots and tech are carried forward, you must choose the start ship carefully, ie. if you want to have Vesper Sail, you MUST start with a Solar.
2. Class Bonus rolls also get carried forward, but this is more malleable than Tech. So if you want the Vesper but NOT Solar bonuses, begin with a Solar that ISN'T S Class. Reskin the Solar into the ship type that has Bonus rolls you desire, and then UPGRADE it to S Class. When you Class upgrade, you get the locked bonus rolls specific to the CURRENT ship type and seed. (Bonus rolls from Exotic being an obvious choice)

Planning is CRITICAL
-Ship begins as A-Class Solar
-Reskin into a Squid & upgrade to S-Class for Bonuses
-Reskin into Hauler so Cargo can be expanded to max
-Reskin into Living because there was a nested glitch that allowed one to expand to 48 General + 48 Tech slots. This MAY still work, if so, you can skip the Hauler reskin and simply expand to 99 Tech + 120 Cargo
-Final reskin to the ship you sacrificed 3+ other ships building your ideal ride

Note that Base Maneuverabilty is ALWAYS dependent on the skin, so ideally you want either a Solar, Explorer, Exotic, or Fighter skin, as they all share the same base maneuvering cap of 445.0. (Squids, Firesprays, Horza tips, and Box Thruster models are the only ones that actually have the potential for perfect Maneuvering)

Final Tally: Vesper Sail, Exotic type bonuses, 120 Cargo, 99 Tech, in a body chosen for looks or ability. (ie Speeder atmo bonuses, Explorer launch cost, etc)

The camps can find crashed interceptors. That's how I've been hunting 'em. Farming the drills for the charts to find those is pretty quick if you manage to find a pillar on the planet to disable the sentinels.

If you want to grind nanites, the bast way it to buy Suspicious Tech and Suspicious Arms from black market dealers and trade terminals on pirate systems. Then unpack and sell the tech for nanites. It takes a few units, but you can get a lot on nanites very quickly that way.

So the conditions for a capital freightor are: Must have warped 5 times, played for 3 in game hours since last capital freightor spawn. After that, your next warp to a different system you will be defending the freightor fro, pirates. Ignore the pirates, and just go straight for the space station. When you get out of your ship, you create a restore point. After that get back in your ship and head over to the freightor, the pirates wont be there anymore. You can board the freightor and use your analysis visor to see the class and storage space while you're in the hanger (you don't have to go up and talk to the captain). If it's not S class, go to options and click on reload restore point. make sure you don't click on reload autosave or it will mess it up. After you reload the restore point, you will be back in teh space station. From here you can get in your ship and go back to the freightor and it will have regenerated it's class. Sometimes it will be the same, sometime's it will be different. Allocate at least a half hour of time doing this becuase it'll take you a few tries to get S class.

IK may break your face, but it fires wildly, often spraying all sorts of useless shots - its baby sister is a Ninja Surgeon, just a perfect infinite line of projectiles lasering straight through and out the other side of skulls

look for a dissonant system, kill corrupted sentinels

there's a few different ways but the way I do it is I go into a dissonant system, destroy a trader ship, and then destroy all 5 waves until the dreadnought gives you an item that gives you exact coordinates to one

you can also go to a corrupted planet and destroy a bunch of drills, they show up on your visor. They have a small chance to give an item (forgot the name) that gives you coordinates for a sentinel camp, then you go to a computer thing in the middle of the camp and one of the options will let ya get coordinates for a ship

People who post these ships expect if you are interested in the ships to do SOME work. This aint no starship dealership, where you roll up and get a S Class ship, with fully expanded inventory and the best mods. People posting these ships don't have time to spend 1 or 2 hours per ship looking for an S Class ship and posting coordinates on the off chance that someone is interested. Its a case of warp into system, find ship, get ship, screen shot it, post screen shot, scrap ship, warp to next system and repeat.
