Go to space station and purchase the emergency data maps. Those should send you to a crashed ship. Sometimes it sends you to a crashed freighter though. So you may want to get a couple of them

Easiest way to make money would be buying salt and putting in a medium refiner with oxygen. Then repeating the process with Clorine

2.5 salt + 2.5 Oxygen = 5 Clorine

If you don't have units for salt farm dehydrogen and put that in medium refiner with oxygen to get salt

Runaway Mould farm. It uses teleporters to go back and forth between deposits all nearby the base computer inwhich you mine them, tp to the next deposit, then repeat. Then you put them in refiners. It's 5 to 1 mould to nanites. A million nanites in just a few hours :)

typically, that means activated indium, the most valuable material. and that stuff simply doesn't show up on "nice" planets. they're stormy hellholes.

Check all your devices and add up how much power you need. Go into #bot-spam and use the "!power" command to see how many solar panels and batteries you need. Hook up all your batteries and panels together in one network. Hook up all your devices that need power in another network. Then connect the two networks with a wire.

This is an example command

It turns into a normal save, and yes you can collect the expedition rewards on any other save, perm, survival, etc...

I found out you can buy it in some minor settlements but personally I've just been spending hours on finding them and in the end I feel like it's the quickest way to do it, although it's extremely boring

How do you give a ship to other players?

well, the only way i know is that the person giving away must exchange their ship for one thats for sale at a space station. then the person receiveing the ship will claim the now abandoned ship when an npc claims it

just in case, i'd like to say, the story is single player, even tho the game does not tell u that directly. do not engage with other player's stories, nor allow for others to interact with yours. that being said, as the roleplayer that i am, we can find some convergence between our stories... if you catch my drift 🙂
