Is anyone in or near a system with repeatably farmable quicksilver via the space anomolies? If so, can we group up so I can get to that system and set up a base? I've been to over 30 stations and have only found 1 traveler. I'm never getting the portal glyphs filled at this point.

quickest way to get the Glyphs is to complete the Purge mission in the Artemis questline where you get them for free, much quicker than looking for Travellers and also cheaper @floral mountain

if you follow the initial start quests until you get your first hyperdrive and fuel cell, you should be able to obtain the crafting blueprint for creature pellets. if not, you should be able to craft them in the Cooking Station at 1 carbon per.

creature pellets can be used to temporarily placate nearby creatures, who can then be claimed as companions or harvested for their produce like eggs and milk. companions will not give produce

Btw, since the game is cross-play, you don't have to be limited to PS players. Unless you want to stick to PS voice chat ofc. Cross-platform players can use Discord vc as an alternative.

~~in-game voice chat is not cross-platform.~~ EDIT: in-game voice chat is cross-platform. pc players can also chat with keyboard which other players can read. and there's speech-to-text which isn't reliable for most players.

first i hear of pc voice being compatible with ps voice. i'll research about it. pc gamepass i know is compatible with xbox console cuz same company. ~~but pc steam can't do voice with xbox.~~ i'll check about playstation with steam pc. i'm not finding reliable information while googling on how successful NMS cross-platform in-game voice chat has been. but it is an option in network settings and i do clearly remember hearing someone on pc (although terrible quality)...also they couldn't hear me. so theoretically, i stand corrected, and yes it's supposed to work. if anyone experiences issues, discord voice chat is a nice alternative.

thank you for helping clarify that! ablobsalute was able to test and confirm audio worked both ways (xbox to ps). voice to text (or speech to text) continues to be an unreliable feature. but voice worked blobthumbsup @brittle river
