If you can find a planet with markers that have two and three stars, and one of those is named “Metal Fingers”, then you will have all the gold and uranium you’ll ever need.

The above advice is probably going to get you enough gold for whatever you are planning. But if you still need more, some planets have gold mineral hotspots. Set up a mining rig there and you will have an unlimited supply goibng forward. IMO gold is not particularly useful though you can get through quite a bit when equipping modules in your freighter.

I suspect you've gone about the grind for the parts in the wrong manner or in the wrong place. You should be able to dig up parts for a sizable starter corvette in the span of a few hours on the right planet. If you're still missing stuff, I can give a hand as well (well, corvette parts, I need both my hands).

Here is a guide I finished writing yesterday, at the end there is a section on how to farm for corvette parts, and while it is heavily geared towards already having a minimalistic corvette, it is completely doable with a normal starship as well, it is just slightly slower, but not on the order of weeks.

you can't be given the blueprint, the blueprint is only available as an expedition reward
depending on how you look upon such unlock ways, you can use the "nms service bot" to unlock it for your account (google is your friend here)

those who completed the expedition can only craft the parts and give those to you

you can also wait until the expedition features in the redux cycle so that it is playable again, and if you're playing on PC I understand that with some savegame editing you're able to play older expeditions

the nms service bot is independent of the platform you're playing on, only thing to look out for is which version everything is on since I believe the bot itself is on pc, but right now you should be good

I mentioned this before. Freighter upgrade mods can be obtained by running derelict freighter missions. At the final terminal, select fabricate to make a random mod. I offered a taxi to a guaranteed S-Class system.

You can find pirate systems that always spawn a dreadnaught event on warp and just keep destroying it without taking out the engines
Always drops an S class freighter mod
