Looking for a group/community to join with my Fiancée, we are relatively new to the game but learning more every day, I am building a large crop farm currently and resource farms as well, id be able to provide resources and the like or offer services of collecting/harvesting resources, or transporting people fairly far away if they so choose.

I have multiple quite nice ships and multitools, I've played since launch off and on. I do have an S class freighter with the singularity engine from doing that event if anyone is also down to just explore, and it can warp around 4500 LY as well.

My fiancée enjoys exploring and collecting ships as well as being a very good resource gatherer. She is much newer but as I said we are both learning as we go.

Community size doesn't matter to me, big or small, new or old is fine.

i never did an expedition, is it hard to do, and will i loose my actual save file? and is it how long? days or hours?

Expeditions at the end of the day are just small tasks the player has to do in order to complete the expedition, Difficulty is really down to how much you understand some of the base and later game mechanics, if you understand them well then they aren’t so much as difficult but more task heavy.

Length of time depends again on your grasp of the games mechanics, a good grasp and you can complete the expedition in a few hours.

You will not lose your save file, you can chose to start the expedition with a new save (that can be deleted or kept after completing the expedition) or use an existing save which allows you to take items such as your current ship and tool with you into the expedition, you can go back to your main save at anytime during.

you only have till the 2nd to do the Titan Expidetion, if you complete it by then you cannot re-enter, to keep it as able to go back into do not finish the final stages yet

No it does not effect your main save file - it is a sub quest

As long as you did not finish all main stages of it, you can return at any time to your main save before the 2nds timer is up

Most are from expedition 7 as they featured predominantly from that, but some weren’t in the expedition even after being added.

Only way to get them now is by having a save from exp 7 and keeping the fragments or using a save editor.

The only fragment you can get now without those above options are the standard fragments with no class assigned to them.

So I was in the anomaly, and someone gifted me 1 vulture engine, and 1 vulture wing. I dont suppose anyone has any extra ones of the same type. It will look weird if I only have one of each on a corvette.

If you switch your game into creative and go build your corvette you wont need the parts they will be unlock for you i dont know if that applies to the expeditions ones but you can build without the need of the parts

Note that if you do play any difficulty survival or above that uses the inventory stack limit, changing to creative will not allow you to change that setting back to survival or perma settings, some changes can also remove your ability to get certain difficulty based achievements and will also remove the survival icon from the save, make sure to read pop up warnings if you do change your difficulty settings.

Each creature type/ID is generated procedurally, these procedurally generated creatures do have predetermined model assets that are all combined to make the final creature.

as for the S capitol ship - keep jumping in habited systems untill you find a fight that gives you one free - to make it a capitol ship they must invite you, not just offer it over the channels - it is random you may have to get into a lot of encounters to get it, or keep going to 3 star systems

any time you visit the ship it will replace your main one

Or keep sending yours on missions it will eventually become S class

Expidetions are literally every 2 weeks - it's pretty simple

I dont have the channel open for expeditions or updates, i usually just find out cus everyone talking about 😂 i dont keep track of them just like to show up when they happening, i know there was one coming up but i couldnt remember when so i had to ask to not missed just in case my son keeps me pretty busy 😅

I can jump between galaxies from the Anomaly, but maybe not from Monuments using glyphs? Should I have entered the code at a Portal from within the Eissentam galaxy?

You are correct at the end. You need to be in the correct galaxy to use portal coordinates.

Absolutely! There are over 18.6 quintillion planets so the coordinates are only good on a per galaxy basis, requiring you to to be in the right galaxy for the teleportation to the correct planet/location. That means the portal coordinates/glyphs are recycled per galaxy many times. The easiest way to get to a location is to friend someone and join their game using the anomaly while they are in the system they want you to be in. Or you can use specific portal coordinates and warp to galaxy cores yourself, or find a public base at the anomaly in the galaxy you want to be in, or check out featured bases for the galaxy you want, etc. 256/257 galaxies to explore that way, so it can be tough to get to those far out galaxies for sure. I've been doing a challenge for myself to see how far into the galaxy list I can make it using my freighter to warp and just hit the 80th galaxy, not using black holes or my singularity warp engine, just normal system warping. Its fun and I've discovered a lot of amazing planets this way!

The biggest challenge for me is staying focused on one particular objective. There are so many missions and things to collect, it's overwhelming. It's good to pick a self-imposed challenge like that and see how far You can take it.
I just got my first bioship and I am aware every time You jump galaxies it trashes the ship you are in, so I need to get a crashed ship before I make the attempt.
I saw a video with a Minecraft streamer who has an insane work ethic, grinds for rare items, like Elytra (flying ability) and just hands them out to her fellow players. I want to join a player village and try playing that way in NMS.

I've been looking for a group for myself and my fiancée as well, we are both lookin, and yes you are correct, id say remove all modules you can and bring repair kits or simply swap to a crashed ship you found for that last core jump! Though they made it so you'd have to have some hyperdrive modules i believe, so it's best to use a normal ship thats easier to repair, the first time I jumped galaxies I was in my freighter and have my living ship equipped and didnt think about it and lost all my modules lmfao

To be able to join somebody's game you need to add their code and they have to add yours. When you add someone using their code they don't get an invite or any other message, if they don't add you then you will just see them as always offline on your NMS friend list. IOW: You don't affect them, not really, but there is also no benefit in doing so.

Idk if it's rude, I shared my friend code openly and I don't really mind if someone wrote it down, though I guess there could be people feeling very touchy about it.

copper is usually in rocks, or mineral locations, if hard to find go underground shoot stalagtites, or stalagmites - use refiner to change it to condensed usually
