You need to use glyphs on a portal to go to the system and planet that discovery is found in, if you need assistance with how to get glyphs run the command !faq-PortalGlyphs in #bot-spam you also need to be in the same galaxy as that post, to find out what galaxy you are in enter the galaxy map and look directly under the galaxy image towards the top left side of the screen, you will see a name, everyone starts in Euclid galaxy. Hopefully this helps you to start using the coordinates exchange and how to find peoples discoveries.

Can’t trade players multitools but a player can take you or provide information on how to get their if you want it specifically

You can trade ships illegitimately using the “exchange” option when interacting with a NPC in a space station to cause that NPC that owns a ship which they will then be next to the ship wanted to be traded

However class rerolls so just because the ship was S for one player does not mean it will be when you buy it, an exception only exists for exotics and living ships which will always be S

Regardless just in case, if for players, you can’t trade currency like units or nanites you have to give players items that will sell or produce those.

NPC or trade terminals will buy items for currency and you use that to purchase from them.
