Exotics are very good all around, even the worst one will be very capable.

That avoids all the glitches, frame drops and issues with other players etc that are associated with the anomaly.

This is a good place to look for people to team up with for sure. Congrats on finishing the expedition. Is your main save a Normal save?

Make sure that when you do a trade transaction, you've made a manual save backup with your expedition save (which I assume has concerted to a Normal save upon completion) just in case anything goes wonky during the trade.

If no one gets back here right away, maybe also check our NMS Voice channels in case anyone's on.

In game, you should have either a save beacon or a save point, when you use those, those become manual saves (which are distinct from saves done by the game automatically and periodically, or when you exit your starship). So if at any point, when you do a trade with another player, anything goes wrong, you won't lose your egg and you can try it again.

With MP, since you're new, I should remind you to make sure to disable PvP (set it to No One). Just in case.

Yeah its harder but due to how their upgrades work, I think it is worth it + they look cool as hell.

Gotta send living frigates on expeditions to get a small chance of getting a spawning sac which is the item that you use to increase their inventory.

As for their base inventory, I think I started off with 35 or 36 inv slots...? I think? and like 3 and a half rows of tech slots. The only downside is that there is no long range item transporter equivalent

Living ships upgrade system + their automatic cargo scan blocking (once you got the upgrade), their faster landing speeds, their looks, aren't damaged by black holes, and the fact you fuel them with junk items just makes living ships better than exotics for me.

Pulse drive can be fueled with carbon, viscous fluids, and silver.

the 'living ships aren't damaged by black holes' was never a thing. it is possible that no ships now (post 4.0) take damage from black holes, couple people are doing testing on that I think

It was/is a thing wasn't it? I remember going through a few black holes with my living ship and it wasn't damaged. Though I can test it out real quick

If you join me, give me the egg, leave and rejoin and your main I can drop the egg for you again, then you just have to save if I’m correct,

Id suggest this:
Join with the egg, give it to Soggy, leave group/disable multiplayer, then reload your restore point.
Once you do that, make another resotre point.
Then join Soggy with the main account and get the egg back.
This will leave an egg in he other account so you have a spare.
