here are the values for the moves of the third copy of the creature, same level but all the numbers are lower unless they depend on agility which is S on this one
It would probably be easier to find one glyph, type it in 12 times to be brought 5,000 LY away from the core, then get there manually via warping
it's not hard to surpass 1,000 LY on any explorer, exotic, sentinel ship or corvette
same with freighters if you have the patience for cargo bulkheads
I want to do that, I just don't know how to get that first glyph first

There aren't any available for Quicksilver, there are only ones from previous expeditions, that require you to have earned them before
but yes, previous expedition rewards can sometimes be cheat codes in early permadeath

I vaguely recall finding one in a trading post but not really sure if I have seen one in a space station at all
They do exist in stations, not all of them of course
I'd say just progress normally for a bit and check around each station

Yes, that is specified in the vanilla game, on the creature's companion register entry
The biome it lists below "Native Climate" is the biome that the creature lays eggs on.

What does version mismatch mean
It means that you and the other player are playing on different update versions, which are incompatible with each other for multiplayer
The !nmsversions command in #nms-commands message shows what version each platform is on

How far into the Artemis quest till you start hunting for the glyphs?
Practically at the end, though it's less of a 'hunt' and more of a 'given to you on a silver platter'
Yee saw the ither method with finding a traveller and collecting em from their graves
That's for those that don't want to do the quest, or want to get them earlier than that, but it's not needed if you do Artemis .

You will eventually want to complete the main story, as other stuff requires it's completion

It depends on the mining stat behind the scenes, and many factors play into it than simply rank, it's not and end all be all stat.
The most common answer would be "given everything else being equal, probably"

They should be able to appear in any biome, though it's amongst a list of 5 elements that a planet can only have I think 1 of

The class doesn't matter very much unless you literally build lots of extractora

There isn't one, the number of placeable object limit is a hard limit, the best you can do is to minimize the part usage, which require some glitch building
For example, overlapping the silos so you don't have to run pipes between them, or solar panels and batteries so ypu don't have to run cables

You just build different lots of connected silos
E.g. if a solo storage limit is 25k, you just build two sets, and don't connect them to each other

As for the answer to this question, my very basic napkin maths, which can be wildly inaccurate, indicates that 2.1b is about the maximum possible income out of gold with extractors, which is around 300 sets of 4 extractors, 20 silos and their accompanying solar panels and batteries, I estimate that you can probably fit like 10 sets of these per hotspot, if you build upwards
This is extremely rough, and does not take into account the sell price, which I just assumed to be 353.

I used small scale farm and slowly went upwards. I started with 16 stasis devices per day, as it's easier to figure out how many biodomrs worth of plants to build, and they have a terminal to grab all of the plants inside of thems

Itโs a limited time set of mission for exclusive rewards I heard they only do it once a year now and they just did one like a month ago

You don't lose anything, the expedition is separate
Is it comparable to arc expeditions minus you losing your inventory kind of?
It's like a second side to your save, all stuff is fully separate and you can still return to your primary save via the options midway, and resume the expedition at the anomaly

What is the best thing to spend credits on when you are close to the cap but want to keep hunting for interceptors (and scrapping the ones that arenโt special will take you over the unit cap)
Btw I know I have to remember NOT to sell the AI valves I get from scrapping interceptors for a good way to store units beyond the cap.

If from the same cabinet, yes. If not, then no
initial class and sc layout of tools is determined by cabinet
They share the same SC slots gained via ranking them up (I think), their initial layout depends on the exact cabinet

I basically don't spend units anymore, but you can probably use units to substitute for say cargo slots upgrades for starships instead of farming for the augmentation, or buy emergency scanners for cargo bulkheads, etc etc
The max stats of lower class creatures are lower than the max stats of those at higher classes

Are specific species of fauna guaranteed to have/lack variants of one scan which have different names and battle traits? I'm noticing the geometric ones consistently have variants.
Those aren't variants, those are different species entirely
some fauna groups assigned to planets include multiple species of the same creature type
like the "all plant cats" one and the glowing striders one
I decided to buy ship storage. The exosuit in that run is maxed out but I was going to experiment with upgrading interceptors to a to see what the range of their stats are before I fully upgraded a 2+2 or a 3+1 with good bonuses. I bought about 17 slots just to get the units somewhere useful instead of wasted.
Genuinely what am i supposed to do if im stuck in the worst solar system with no planet with copper on them to transform copper in what i need for hyperjumps fuel ๐ญ
All planets have a stellar metal
it's impossible to be on a planet that lacks one, even with mods
Cadmium, Emeril, Indium and Quartzite are also stellar metals, assigned to planets in different star colors

Speaking of Fauna, are blobs just always low density? I have been trying to get a decent blob farm setup but they always seem to be so sparse and low population, even when there are several species of blob on that planet.
Contrast that with the plant cats, 4 species planets still had patches were you could find groups of a dozen or so cats. Just can't find them for blobs for some reason
They also have Activated variants, which are similar in that they also refine into chromatic metal
Yeah, they're just like that I think. I think some are similar to that, like grunts
some can just never be in those big herds
these groups are pre-made by the developers, they aren't as random as people think
I assumed as much, the difference feels too stark to be random
This might not be my final best ship but it has been the useful main of this run for a few weeks. I don't know if the bonuses are any good but it works fine and it is better to give it some more cargo space than waste units

To clarify, these were two of the same scanned specimen which had different names. There were no other scannable geometric fauna on that planet.
If it has not surrendered, you get an S-Class freighter upgrade module. If it has surrendered, destroying it grants nothing

I mean compara health bar of species A with health bar of species B, even if the two are the same, one could represent a much bigger number

Apart from the two crafted 15.6m items, nothing off the top of my head, the next best thing after ai valves from scrapping ships don't have anywhere near as high of a density
Most of the valuable items only stack up to 10 though, 20 if in storage containers or freighter cargo
I donโt know. Compressed Indium scraps is about 1/4 of AI valves

Indium scraps is 3m per pop, at 50 per stack it becomes 150m per full stack, the two 15.6m crafts is slightly better at 156m per stack

Your first freighter from a rescue battle will be free, if you donโt take the first free one your next ones will also be free.
Unless they changed something recently this can also include capital freighters (no gameplay difference, just bigger models and more starting tech/cargo iirc)

hey yall, i just bought the game recently and am still on the tutorial. im on my second planet, the one where the tutorial has you build a base on, and i just finished building my first base. about how long does it take until im done with the tutorial? spent around an hour and a half on the game so far

If you have a pc it's possible though fairly roundabout, you sync your ps saves with your PC version, save edit, then sync it back to os5
Just set Purchases to free, upgrade it's class to S and unlock all slots, then buy and install 3 of each type of upgrade, then unlock all the blueprints from the anomaly and set crafting to free to install all those
if you wish for a ship with high boost speed in-atmosphere, sentinel interceptors are the only ones you will probably want

max true ship speed is set per ship type, capped very low so like 2 pulse upgrades reach these values (the in-game speedometer is incorrect and adds to the number)

as long as they are even slightly useful its fine just as long as its not useless
If you need nanites, as @clear anvil suggested, suspicious packages will also let you have nanites as well, but it's not the fastest way to get your units down, as each station is only like 3m
Starship cargo space using units is a contender for burning units fast and still having useful results
Using units to upgrade MT tech slots is, without question, fastest way to burn units
Cash cap can only upgrade 7 slots towards the end of MTs before they run out of units
im trying to find more pirate systems its a little tricky lol
if you want to get more ship cargo slots per unit spent buying A and S clas ships and scavanging them might be more cost efficient
I would add that by saying that stations with first wave exotic is much better for scrapping
A rank ships only average 1 slot per scrapping, s ranks are too rare, exotic is the only reliable way to get them on a consistent basis

The NomNom save editor has a function to transfer saves between the two, but it doesn't fix the latter two issues, so again it's way better to just use official means if possible

Pretty much, also note that you can't get new building construction proposals while something is being worked on or awaiting finalization, so don't upgrade things constantly

That could be autophage staves but without screenshot I cannot confirm that for sure, although I do not think any staves are available for quicksilver

Those are used to locate harmonic camps, but you need to be in an star system with a valid planet (a dissonant planet that is inhabited and not on a planet with gold or rusted metal listed as resources)
Harmonic camps have a MT cabinet that contains a sentinel MT and an infinitely recurring crash interceptor locator
Unlocking one such camp is also a hard requirement for a quest later pn
back again with the centre of the galaxy questions. sorry in advance for being annoying. i have reached a point in the artemis questline where i found 3 different leylines and acquired 3 sets of glyphs, upon doing this i founda portal and "Inputed Glyphs" which has now activated the portal. will this get me to the centre of the galaxy?

No, you are not brought to the centre of the galaxy at any point in the quest chain, even the very last step you don't really technically go through the core of Euclid, even though it acts if you went through a core

Improves its stats, increases the number of supercharged slots, and their maximum tech and cargo slots
E.g. an C class ship can only have a max of 30 tech slots, an S class has a max of 60

Exotic is the stronger counterpart of shuttles. Compared to other ships of the same class, exotics stats are mostly middling to high end of the ranges of other ships, so no apparent weakness barring that their cargo max is 105, second lowest behind fighters
They are also guaranteed to be S class
These are good but I wouldn't sell my favourite ship for one. If you don't have the cash now, make a note of the location and come back when you do have cash. Wait around there and they usually reappear

I kinda wish they would either equalize the ship types, or at least balance them and give them all strengths and weaknesses
Sentinels have Hauler cargo capacity, Fighter combat ability, and can hover. Literally the best in pretty much everything
I had a few ideas for balancing ships but they were all focused around niche effects outside of their stats, and I have no idea how to balance solar
Sentinel ships sure have pretty good bonus and look good but you always can make them nearly equal with upgrades and tech

it's nice to have all 10 of my storage units on my corvette, but I can just hop into orbit and summon my Freighter if I need to
I play in permadeath and sometimes my corvette appears partly inside my base trapping me inside. Nearly permanently stuck twice. So not using it for now. Corvettes need a proper landing pad
Yeah, they have special docks on Freighters and Derelicts. A Corvette Landing Pad should be added to Base parts

Doesn't matter, they can use the same pad we have in stations and the anomaly, no need to make one for the modders/editors
