You need to reach a portal to get the coordinates of a planet, the coordinates consist of 12 glyphs. Then you can share those glyphs
Other than that, you just need the latitude and longitude of the crash site

Ok, starship fabricator is in the back, and corvette workshop is in the front

To use them, you need parts, but since you're new to the game, you probably won't have any parts yet. Basic corvette parts can be bought, but most of the interesting parts are found on planets with "Salvageable Scrap"

For starship fabricator the only way to get parts is to buy or find a ship and break it up for customization module
