That's absolutely fair! Tho some players enjoy that early grind, since at one point it gets boring for some to have everything absolutely maxed out

Did you know, if you start the expedition from your main save you can bring exosuit upgrades, your entire multi tool AND your entire ship with you? You basically "copy" it over, though it costs nanites to do so, and you need to reach the anomaly (meaning you need to warp once, with the bare kit the expedition starts with, so you can get to the anomaly)

What some people do for the nanites is to grab items you can refine into nanites, and store them in the expedition terminal, so when entering the expedition, when you reach the anomaly you can pull those items out, turn them into nanites and then just copy your multi tool and ship easily :>

I don't have anything like that so what I do is just explore the planets and scan everything to get the nanite reward for fully scanning all the fauna. One or two planets is enough for copying the ship I think- though the price raises if the rarity is high

No limit was added, there was a limit in the game from the moment corvettes were created, likley bc allowing infinitely large corvettes by default would break things and they wouldn't be able to ship update with a feature like that.

What you do with mods or blender is entirely up to you, but when they release a feature it's a different matter.

Size doesn't matter. Size as in dimensions. It'll render in slower, as in you have to be much closer for the parts to render in vs normally. Now, count is a different story.
