As far as I am concerned if HG didn't put it in the game it shouldn't be there. And there is an art and satisfaction in achieving the most with what you have that is impossible to get from mods, blender, or save editing. You have to learn game mechanics you normally wouldn't and the time it takes to test and learn and put it all together is itself an amazing reason to spend more time in NMS. If I didn't have that I'd have to go play other games or something and that just would not do.

Once you make a very basic one though you can use it to farm up more pieces.
Go to a planet with the salvageable scrap, then can hover and exit the seat, look for a scrap container in the visor view, tag it, then fly to it and shoot the container with the corvette.
Rinse and repeat until you find parts you want or use the extras to trade for other ones you want.

Heat radiators negate cold hazard. Since I set up my main base on a cold planet I set up a couple by my fishing spot so I don't ave to worry about it when fishing lol. Other than that, why not? If anything we have too many plants and rocks and crap like that. I am hoping the community missions start rewarding some other stuff at some point.

Basically just warp around and look

yellow star systems have the highest chance for lush worlds (their stellar class begins with F or G)

warping around using a freighter with it's Scanner Room allows you to scan all of the planets in the system, which helps see instant details about all of them from the menu

You will most likely need to research and build it, which would require one Salvaged Frigate Module #nms-questions message

I think one default freighter base layout comes with it, but not sure

Lush worlds that both lack storms and have low sentinel activity are given the biome name "Paradise Planet/Moon", lush worlds that are the infested/ruined variants do not qualify for this

Actually no, my first freighter was a Vy’keen one, but I don’t have pics. I chose to transfer that layout when I got a dreadnaught.

So it was the Vy’keen one that came with a scanner
