Repairing frigates, you teleport to it from the freighter command deck (fleet maintenance console), or else can land on damaged ones to start the repair miniquest.

The landing pad rings light up if you point your starship at them close enough, then you can autoland. Each frigate type is arranged a bit different though. From the frigate fleet management console you can teleport to the damaged frigates much faster and more conveniently.

looking between the early ships you get, the solar ships, the sentinel ships with all their moving bits, organic ships, etc, especially with the introduction of corvettes, the only one that is really supposed to stand out is the organic ships but it kinda just feels too much like some things are just too awkwardly implemented

the main thing that creating a new game does is it allows the devs to uproot the entire foundation they had previously laid, where as any amount of updates or changes to an existing, public foundation will inevitably upset people, or be broken and need to be fixed, or cause any number of down stream consequences.
for example
if they suddenly started removing all the old trade stations and sites that don't support corvettes, and replace those with new ones, people will be upset that the place they built their base around is now different.
and they could just make it so that no new ones spawn, but then you are dealing with the bloat of needing to support old sites while also supporting new sites

Hello I'm requesting someone to come help me as I have gotten stuck in a space station I built a nice giant Corvette ship and I was doing sum missions and I wanted to warp to another galaxy for Mission but I ended up triggering a freighter battle, I was waiting for it to finally happen so that I could Farm it and try to get an S Class freighter for free, I left my computer as I was warping and so when I came back I noticed I was in the Battle so I wanted to reload my save, this caused me to reload for some reason stuck in my Corvette landing gear and I cannot get out so I have a auto save reload save that's in the frater battle and then I have a restore point that has me stuck in a Corvette part, I heard if I join a friend or a friend joins me it resets my position is anybody able to help me I would really like to fix this as I don't want to reload my save in the frater battle and then lose my chance at getting a freighter thank you very much
