Not much there but for what it is worth I have 0 deaths in permadeath outside the one the expedition forced at the very start.

But, NMS is a primarily single player game. You have a toggle in the network settings. Yeah, people throwing around high value items in the anomaly is annoying, but you can curate your experience. You don't have to use creative mode, other players using it doesn't have to affect you. You play your game however you want.

Things you can see in NPC inventories, be it items sold at trade terminal or even quicksilver and expedition rewards have a corresponding item. Normally you don't get the item when you unlock something with quicksilver, you just get the unlock or a ship or something else, but the item that represents the thing in the menu exists and people can save edit it into their inventories and then give it to other players.

Sometimes it's really harmless fun, they give someone debt or happiness, tho sometimes people in #nms-questions ask how they can add quicksilver from item to their counter.

games are a lil more upcharged and Nintendo is very unwilling to make sales for games.

Overall Steam as a game library is better which the steamdeck has ready access to.

If you can do without Nintendo games and just want the PC games then steamdeck is a lil better, but if you still want your Nintendo games then get a Switch 2.
