There are some base terminals that you can recruit NPCs for and they have like their own quest lines and whatnot but really they're mostly fetch quests that also double as tutorials and you can get some blueprint unlocks for free but they run their course pretty fast and then there's no reason to keep those terminals installed. Like the multitool guy technically offers you a free MT every day but it's all broken and it's trash...he can't offer you any good multitool type. I don't think he can even offer Alien MTs and those are 3rd rate damage.

I think that's what they are trying to do cuz they just added pokémon battles It's just hard to add PVP in different things like that only because you're playing along with people in different modes and everything so you got people that can literally spawn every object and make the best ship ever instantly versus people that have to work 4 hours to get to a specific point in upgrading so there would have to be a lot of tweaks to add specific types of PVP and multiplayer teams and you can't have two different servers for this game either cuz there's just too much data in the 18 trillion planets and this is why would you even have mods playing with normal people in every difficulty all playing together in one server cuz it's so massive

Depends on how you define insane really. Corvettes can have the best combined stats by far and the interior space allows for a lot of quality of life stuff and they can be portable mini-bases. They won't automate a lot or be massive farms like planetary bases can be and can't carry or do as much as freighters but hey can still be pretty spectacular. This is mine, I made it as powerful as I could stat wise and as efficient as possible space with the interior performing as much utility as I thought reasonable for a mini base.
