everyone is different - I prefer sprint, but most players end up using melee+jetpack. If you hit the jetpack fast enough after the melee button you zoom a bit further.

Guys, I'm stuck on getting Frigate modules to unlock tech in my Capital Ship, I've dones a couple of Desolate Freighters, but the only option at the end is "Fabricate Technology Upgrade", "Fabricate Freighter Bulkhead" "Fabricate Corvette Modules" I dunno which one is for the Frigate Modules to actually unlock tech

Also is there a quicker way to get the modules? (no dupes)

I think you can have never installed techs in your inventory, like from memory fragments, but the ones you installed once, and became grey and worth 16 nanites after taking them off cannot be exchanged afterwards.

as Astaroth said, the red ones do go away, but it does take a while compared to just continuously buffing from an already good one (cause a level up will remove the red, then you need another level up to add a good trait in replacement) so ideally, getting C class frigates on 1 expedition or less & no red traits with low fuel costs has the best potential for massive upgrades

sac venom can be found as a 3 star resource on some planets, but collection can damage you & will attract sentinel attention, the safer way is growing your own in hydroponics trays or hydroponics freighter rooms (if you have a freighter base & the hydroponics room unlocked)

alternatively, if you cannot obtain sac venom, use a repair kit!

yeah that's kinda how I feel, I prefer regular starships most of the time & only use corvette when I absolutely need to (like certain expeditions, or use of debris finder)

No, theyre fantastic. Specializing them in a particular stat will give better performance than any other starship

It was tough to roleplay this out, and have my character not feel like all of the more basic rare resources like storm crystals are worthless now
