Most commonly overlooked is that there can be multiple cave flora species with cave marrow, and may be near-identical so you think you got them all already. Likewise, the hazardous flora whips, gas bags, flytraps, etc. typically have multiple species per planet and can be easily overlooked.

Lol, I had one planet with 3 gas bag species, mercifully of three sizes so it was easy to see there was more than one species.

Personal preferance, really. You can take pics with OBS too if you want to. Windows Game bar I think is one of the simplest things and saturating colours a bit more might make it look better/closer to what you see on an HDR display than steam going in the other direction. Game Bar also saves images by default as an uncompressed PNG file so it will preserve the quality of the image. Using steam you would have to enable external copy option.

Instead of using No Man's Sky's screenshot tool, try either:

1. Using Steam's screenshot tool. In Steam, go to Settings -> In Game and make sure Save an external copy of my screenshots is enabled. Then in game, take a screenshot with F12. Your screenshots will be saved (by default) to your Documents folder.

2. Using the Windows Game Bar. In game, use Win key + Alt + Print screen to take a screenshot. Then Win key + G to open the Game Bar to view them.

No, the "loss of quality" or the "pixelation" you see around edges or diagonal/curved lines is usually caused by saving an images using NMS built-in capture option, it affects only PC as far as I know with exception being if you are using NVidia DLAA.

If you open photo mode, hide UI and take pics with a different tool you should be good.

There are different image formats that work with HDR but they aren't really standardised. Game Bar option should create two files, PNG which will work well everywhere but doesn't cover HDR colour range and JXR which is a format that uses HDR, but if you upload it to Discord it will not show as an image, only as a file donwload

So colours will always look slightly off

Install an Economy Scanner in your ship, and then in Galactic Map look around for the systems with a skull for economy type (you may also be able to use the economy filter also if you can figure out the color; I have trouble with that myself).
Be aware that the region can have an influence to make outlaw systems more or less common, so if you just can't find any, scoot over to a new region and try again.

It could be (and most likely is), but at each stat level the stat potentials range can overlap, and a poor RNG roll at S might overlap a great RNG roll at B (the modding folks have extracted the tables, they might know more specifically). Since the rolls are not visible to players, only way to tell is to equip them both identically and see.
btw, each time a multitool (or starship) is upgraded in class, its stats are rerolled for the new class, with the old stat as a guaranteed floor for the new roll, so the stats always improve.
