Nah hardcore mode would have bounty hunters/ space rangers hunting you everywhere you go , and they aren't just slouches like the pirates

The difficulty can already kinda be salvaged with mods which increase damage output; but the other issue is that my MT does so much damage now, they also need a health bump or some sort of resistances.

I feel like that‘s a very volatile things. The dogs and mechs feel pretty smart and have managed to pissed me off in the past, but the Walker has like lost all of its aura.

After shooting down its leg platings it practically becomes brainless.

And other enemies like the broodmother have been bugged, tho that might have been fixed in the recent patch.

technically you could keep fighting space battles till you get an s class for free, or keep taking an existing one on missions till it becomes S class

you will get more rescues, every 5 warps or something you will have to rescue a freighter from pirates then you will get invited by the captain

the captain will offer you the ship or to get paid in resources, if the ship is S class take it, if not then keep going until you find the S class
