Prior to the Voyagers fiasco last year, the average was about a week. With a few outliers (Echoes in 2023 took nearly 3 weeks to arrive to Switch 1, likely due to it implementing FSR2 and Nintendo took its time verifying it).

The sixth month wait for the Voyagers update (corvettes) to get added to Switch 1 (and it was three weeks for Switch 2) due to engine problems that took HG a while to solve however, has thrown the old average out the window. Also, the dev team has recently revealed that updates for handheld consoles are now taking a lot longer due to NMS's increasing complexity and handheld hardware limitations.

So, it's a lot harder to predict, basically. Could be same day, could be a month.

The best way to get them in mass is to make a base by a runaway mold location and set up refiners...you can have 3 large and 2 medium refiners in close proximity then you need a distance of 5 cuboid rooms and you can put another 3 large and 2 medium. Set up like 10 to 20 total refiners, then mine the runaway mold, teleport to a space station and back, mine it again, etc. Once you have enough stacks to fill all the refiners get them churning...you'll make 20k nanites per 10 refiners every hour or two.

Aye best way to get the parts is to go to a planet that has Salvageable scrap. Then yes your scanner to find its icon. You will have to land on the Planet 1st if you don't have a corvette yet. But ones you Tag its location just fly over to it. And shoot at the ground around the icon. If it's not patched out. It's the fastest way to get parts. And quite profitable I might add.

The Corvette doesn't get the hologram type of wings or the solar sails but if you're looking to dispose of solar ships and then just take the sales from them Pirate stations get all the really good ones all the time that's how I got 90% of my solar sales and parts to build mine

My endgame for NMS will probably be abandoned mode with the gDamage mod; I honestly miss the NMS Universe being more lonely and less busy than it is nowadays.

Space stations have become so crowded and all, it's a bit much at times.

So I've heard, it's why I've been thinking of starting one myself, perhaps even PD on top (I still need the achievement anyways) to spice things up.

I wouldn't even need to worry about the grind for an S-Class freighter too heh; my only gripe is that you do miss out on a lot of other content, like Settlements etc.

In terms of how busy NMS was it was ideal to me in the pre-NEXT times tbh, pretty lonely but not entirely abandoned. I enjoyed the minimalist vibes.

For some reason the new space stations have been starting to bother me a bit recently, they are a tad too busy for my preference. I enjoyed them at first when they were still novel, but now I feel like I liked the og and NEXT ones better if I'm being honest.

Building up your corvette in abandoned to eventually replace what would be the freighters role in regular mode and it evolving alongside you as you try to solve the mystery of this lonely galaxy while scavenging for upgrades...

It's probably right up my alley, so much roleplaying potential too, despite the lack of NPC's.
