I've made mods before but I don't like mods for No Man's Sky and the main reason people don't understand why they don't have DLCs for this game is cuz you know how hard it would be to program DLCs into a single server game there's 18 trillion planets 250 galaxies and it's all one server You know why cuz it's huge You know how hard it would be to have multiple servers so this is why you see mods working in the normal game and they don't have it separated like other games do so personally I don't want to encourage modding for this because it can mess up and make the game unstable if other people are making mods that contradicts your mod and now everybody's PC just crashed it in the anomaly

MTA and DoT kinda interchangably depending on the length of the buff and what the MTA is

Patch notes said they fixed a bug where some anomalous fauna was invisible. It was a very longstanding bug but it was those crystal guys that were fixed. Dunno why that planet's ecosystem changed though

i dunno man, the only difference between the two i see is that one is procedurally generated (nms) while the other has its own list set in stone (pokemon). they both require you to go out and catch different creatures to have turn based battles and level up

Maybe! As you progress in the game, the difficulty level drops. The real challenge is getting out of the initial 'hole' of having no inventory space, no income, and no resources. Being gifted valuable materials breaks that dynamic, and for many, can remove a significant portion of satisfying gameplay before they even have a chance to understand that this progression curve exists.

Important note: No Man's Sky is not a competitive game; one player's success has no impact to another's success or enjoyment. As such, this server's official stance on methods some consider 'cheating' - which would include duping, save editing, and mods - are all valid gameplay.

Certainly, players with all sorts of play styles exist, and not everyone has time to put in tens or hundreds of hours into a game. Some would appreciate being gifted valuable items, even after knowing they are artificially skipping potentially satisfying self-accomplishment.

Therefore: It's this author's opinion that the important part of both giving and accepting gifts is ensuring the recipient understands the potential gameplay/accomplishment ramifications. Some players could be best served by disposing of unrequested handouts.

It's a new thing that let's you collect scrap for recycling, which gives nanites. If you find waste recycling fun, maybe, but its use is fairly limited.

It can also fling small sentinels around a little bit.

Once you use someone's code to add them before you start the game go over to the right and there's a separate menu about friends and just click on join their game and you will pop up on the planet right next to me on the same server You may have to fly to me but pretty close

I use save beacons to build mines. I only build mines that have the option of 2 or more materials and electromagnetic power. I'll mark the strongest point and use that as the center point to build harvesters around. Build a platform on top of the save beacon.

I was genuinely surprised at how many purple systems there are...they are as numerous as yellow systems...maybe more. Red, green, and blue systems are not that numerous. HG literally added like 33% or so more star systems to the game with Worlds Part 2, which is insane for a game that was already so mindbogglingly huge.

Depends on what you're going for I would have to check my stat but I know a few of them make it so he does moves in between moves on his own and other things like that I have not found any characteristics that I've had a negative impact but most of the creatures I use are pretty high level with good stats so I'm not sure I've only seen positive with a few different trades

You can gene sequence the personalities however you wish...get an egg, wait 24 hours and then you can gene edit the egg for 100% aggession before hatching it if you wish. Personally I intent to have all my arena pets be 100% Aggressive, Helpful, and Devoted.
