I'm assuming you mean a buried salvage container that you used, then did a save, then reloaded that save? Because other sequences should not be surprising. Buried salvage containers do regenerate over time after use, but it takes quite a bit of clock time (on the order of days as I recall, and do not regenerate after a reload, unlike for example curious deposits or NPC vendor stock.)

Gotcha, you are meaning the more basic: "I found some buried salvage containers, and now am having trouble finding more". My understanding is the regions in the planet have a similar base chance (for the whole planet) and then each region in the planet can have an adjusting chance (up or down), so you may have just found a region on a planet with a lower overall chance modified up in the region where you found them and now you are facing "regression to the mean" when you try to find more. Eventually, you should find some. If you truly find none, maybe open a ticket and point the planet out to HG, there could always be a bug...

||We saw ancient korvax rebuild itself from scraps with help of a purple crystal. The spawn geks were violent but weren't "ooga booga" level of dumb else they wouldn't have been a leading empire otherwise. They were probably hunted but also went into hiding to reorganize and survive long term through other means. Their hiding perhaps is so good that we the player could be speaking to a spawn pretending to be a new gen gek.||
