hi all! got NMS 3 days ago and have been taking it rather slow so i'm on my second planet.
I have a few questions:

1. is there no way to friggin' invert the flight controls? it's been driving me crazy.

2. what good reason could there possibly be for making menus on console have a cursor? seriously, does anyone know what's the rationale behind?

3 are all random ships I see flying overhead when I'm exploring on the ground actual players, or are they npcs? lpl

4. how long does it take until you get to the part where you can hop into any galaxy at will on the map?

5. when can I expect dogfights to become more common? I've played for around four hours now and haven't seen one enemy ship.

As you go through the storyline it will have you warp to another system at some point, although it doesn't take too long.

Dogfights are everywhere if you look for systems with high conflict, but to see that you need to progress and get materials for the Conflict Scanner

It will open up more as you go along, and the combat stuff is normally pretty early on as far as the whole story goes.

The mission log loves to swap your mission you are following for a different one in there now and then, just what it does.

Pilgrim is fastest in speed, but in-air turning SUCKS.

Roamer is balanced.

Nomad specs into turning ability and is very floaty. Also comes with a small hop if you hit space. I personally like the Nomad bc it takes any terrain like a champ.

Just beware boosting. You can boost too hard and do backflips-

so if you wanna do tricks on that shii, Nomad’s your go-to.
