@hard perch i'd say that if you spend more than 5min trying to find land from space, going around the planet and everything, using photo mode to move the sun as a gameplay assist, and cant find any, most likely looking at a waterworld with no islands. if there's a lot of islands, they'll be really easy to see

otherwise the exocraft and maps find abandoned buildings easily, and once you get practiced, you can raid all 12 (or so) larvals in 5 minutes. Just collect two at a time and fly back up to the roof and collect from the other side.

hello people. I was gearing a new ship and noticed that when i install the photom cannon upgrades, the photon cannon itself does gets more damage in the technology descripton, but the ship damage stats is unchanged.
Is how it works? it makes me doubt since maneuverability and hyper range does change when installing the upgrades.

Photon cannon max dps is around 22k, so its not going to move much on the damage stats. If you are altering the layout of modules hover over the photon cannon to get damage amount that way. Take the numbers as a guide only. Other forms of damage like Infra Knife might on paper do more damage, however they tend to miss more. The only time you feel the difference is friegter battles when you do sustained damage

no im really not that minmaxer its too mucho to me, but i literally mean the ship damage stat, the one that shows ath the right and on top of the actual ship model, doesnt change at all

the photon cannon (actually the sentinel one) damage when hovering the technology, does change as expected

Depends on what exactly would be "frequently". I would say that it takes a bit for new items to bit added to the shop but they are slowly being added as community research thingy, one item at a time.
