Build your base above ground, then go into the prefab menu and use the cuboid support posts. All you have to do is push it under your house and hit the "freeplacement" button, and it'll pop up into place underneath and touch the floor.

There ar eother options of course. The archways make good underneath supports.

Depends on the planet. A couple i found on my abandoned mode save storm very often, feels like every 5 minutes of RL time if not less.

when using normal mode and placing floors it usually removes terrain

if you max out ur terrain edits it will not remove terrain and thus u are safe

look at the list of stations and select the last one.
search the station for travellers and visit the graves one at a time.
visit the telepoter and repeat until the stations start to cycle.

Because it always puts the "oldest" station last you can cycle through all the stations in your history list exactly once by visiting the last station in the teleporter menu, which makes it recently visited so theres a new oldest

Some companies took it in stride and would release new content on floppy or CD based on the creativity of said hacks. An example is Duke Nukem 3D, there was a winter CD that was release as an add-on, it was originally a "mod" someone made but Apogee took a shine to it and made it an entire new episode. Do you guys use your corvette as your regular main spaceship to move around? When not scanning for systems in the freighter? Because i have the feeling that it is way faster and more comfortable to just fly around and land in my sentinel starship. On -and offboarding is faster and smoother, fights and manouvering is smoother.

honestly for me corvette's pulse drive is so much more faster to go from planet to planet and u never need to land it, you can keep it hovering over and just step out and no fuel is used, u can use it infinitely

Mitey does indeed. Has access to all the storage, kitchen and refining needs in both space and planetside. That and if you can't find a place to park, its nice to be able to beam down and back up. ALSO standing on the hull so that you can scan and locate things with the deflector shields keeping you safe is nice.

no landing fuel used tho, and no, i mean my corvette has the landing gear so much far away, so i just placed one thunderbird bay in like next to my cockpit, its not directly accessible but i can press 'beam down to planet' through the wall so yes its much faster than landing for me

I have a destroyer from helldivers 2 that i built 1 to 1 from a guide. Very cool. Fast and strong. Still i like moving around in the sentinel ship way more...Corvettes felt clunky.

Design your ship and make it as useful as you need. Yes Mitey still uses a freighter from time to time.. but everything else is onboard my corvette.. including protection for friends!
