The barrel fabricators give fuel components, either for hyperdrives or condensed carbon, and have a chance to give navigational data

And the ones you build have three slots or something

Crate fabricators give supplies for life support, hazard protection, and species standing

I don't mind doing that. To be honest the thing I was most scared of approaching this game was any sort of FOMO. It was the assumption based on seeing the limited time of Expeditions and maybe things like Twitch Drops.

I managed to learn how as soon as possible. Being able to do that dissuaded me from being less inclined to play due to those fears to be honest. I'll be just doing Remnant for now, but still it was awesome to learn. I think being able to go back will be a fun learning experience as well. I know they sometimes do them in Redux bunches but I'd prefer not to wait. LOL

Hostile scans just locate items in your inventories: sentinels look for contraband, pirates look for value. Not sure what "sub" means in this context.
