Game mode explained:

Expeditions are an alternate time-limited, season-like game mode with a set of challenges rewarding exclusive items that can be claimed in any and all of your saves, in any game mode account-wide.

To get past expedition rewards, you must wait for possible future expedition re-runs (see past expeditions) or possible future Twitch Drops campaigns featuring old expedition rewards (see past campaigns). You may also obtain certain rewards via other unconventional means, including ship trading or using a "service bot" in the Creative Hub Discord. Additionally, PC players ( ) can get past rewards via save editing or #nms-modding.

Oh my god, that's true, and it's what confuses me so much. How can I tell if I'm playing offline or online, but the probability of running into someone is practically impossible.

Now, I'm asking if it has an MMO because I was playing with a friend on the same planet and the game crashed, obviously kicking me out.But when I came back, logging in normally without selecting multiplayer, I was on the same planet and my friend was just another random player, not in my group. So how multiplayer is it? That's confusing me.

Also, my friend and I had the same problem: he entered the solar system first and claimed a planet, and he showed me how its name appeared for him, but when I entered, it appeared undiscovered. Then I went in and was able to claim it, but I didn't quite understand what happened... Is it the same with flora, fauna, and minerals?

at the very least you'll have to progress through the story until you do, if you really want to start from main save

we've still got a whole month before the expedition is over, so there's no rush

I did that and checked s few but it was like a orange line going from system to system and pretty far and iit said I couldn't jump to other system because of unknown interference or smth

you can only warp to other yellow systems until you get upgrades for the others, i don't remember the story railroading you into a specific path but i could be wrong or it could have changed since then

Yall know the bug that sometimes happens when you warp into a system? Some systems will always trigger a pirate dreadnought battle no matter what. So i farmed that for all the freighter upgrades i needed and got over 500 gek standing lmao
