Yk, If it was lithium I could see it as bad luck. Lithium is inly found on waterworlds so it is possible you somehow didn't found even one eveb tho theu are quite common.

But all planets in all purple systems will have either Quartzite or Activated Quartzite if it is an extreme hazard planet and I find it super unlikely that you went through 30+ systems and not a single planet had normal Quartzite.

Don't buy into the multitool inherent bonuses hype either, any multitool will wreck all enemies and mine super fast when upgraded. You don't need an alien or sentinel for combat or a pistol for mining
