I am forgoing the new expedition and started a new save anyhow. I'm in Trace of Metal. I have the Minotaur with 3 S class cannon modules (1 mod in boosted, the main weapon in boosted) and I have my staff loaded with Blaze Javelin S class mods in 1 boosted slot plus the weapon in a boosted slot. But, I still can't beat the walker to get my pristine walker brain. Any suggestions?

the trick is to build a custom ship with S class reactor, and shop stations until you get really good SC slots next to each other

but if they are together, you can stack your damage mods together to exponentiate your damage

so SC slots boost damage for damage mods and weapons, and placing mods that work together close together, in certain order, also increases the damage

so if you have both

its like magically way more

so if you haven't already always place the mods that look the same together

or do the same type of thing

it increases how well they work

sometimes if SC slots are far apart, you have to choose between close together or on a SC slot

and figure out which is better

but if you have both, that's when the magic happens

any kind of mod too, doesn't have to be damage, you want the most maneuverable ship ever, do that with those mods
