Alright, the good news is, it seems to have fixed the crashing (though I noticed and in the expedition too that performance seems worse when you're using the terrain manipulator on deposits + you will full auto fire your gravitino coil if you're sprinting and holding down your fire button). Also for some reason its not showing the flatbed module as unlocked, not sure why.

It's all very cool, but it loses novelty after the 10th time

To do that you will have to load your save and go to the anomaly, find expedition terminal and start the expedition that way.
