Hi travellers ! Im about 60 hrs of playing, ive explored ten system and their planets, built 3 little bases in planet I like.
I got my first big and impressive corvette a few hours ago.
I just finished Alone amidst the stars, and I just finish discovering Space Anomaly and aaaaaall the stuff we can do with the tools the game gives (automining minerals/gaz/power, agriculture, enhancing exosuit/starship/exocrafts/squadron)
But Im starting to go around... What for ?
We dont really need a lot resources to survive, we dont need bigass bases when we have enough with a few room, we dont need big and efficient starships/freiter as tp portals exist...
So now im asking, whats the purpose of the game for now ? Why expend bases by recruiting npcs ? Why set automining up ? Where is the real difficulty, the real purpose of the game ?
Someone (not mean) has the answer ?

You can also build some normal ships via scrapping them for parts and reassembling to your desire, the parts must all be from the same ship type to do this

Either way, most avenues (even vestibule) imply an update to building
