Perhaps it's a problem with the country they are from, outside of the EU and North America ISP's can be very finicky about what their population is allowed on the internet

Could be a rotating IP address at the ISP? Or they are seeing traffic across ports they don't recognize and shutting those ports down temporarily thinking it's some sort of illegitimate traffic

NMS multiplayer is mostly point-to-point, where the servers are only there to set you up in an instance or connect you to your friend(s), then they aren't involved. The ISP might not like point-to-point traffic, might consider it a torrent or something similar

The typical update process is you see 60% off on platforms starting sometime the week before the update. Then you get a cryptic emoji posted by Sean on probably Saturday or Sunday. The next day he'll post three of those emoji. Right before the update drops, usually Wednesday early afternoon (UK time), you'll get a cowboy made out of that emoji. Somewhere either just before or after the cowboy you get a gib.

Yeah, multiplayer does have issues sometimes, but it's not really something HG can fix. They are not big enough to run multiplayer servers for everyone so they have to use P2P, and some network setups don't like that

First thing would be to completely uninstall any kind of security software other than Defender. You don't need it and it will just mess up all sorts of other things. Next, try to setup portforwarding in your home router. If that still doesn't work, you probably have to contact your ISP

Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could be hurting myself by choosing an A-class freighter over an S-class one ?

I currently have a standard S-class entreprise freighter and I came across a pirate dreadnought with better stats, but it's an A-class. I'm new to the game and I admit the pirate freighter is much nicer looking, but since I already have an S-class one, would it be silly to switch to that one ? Even if the pirate one is better in every way right now ? I imagine I could upgrade my S-tier freighter further, right

You can't change the class later, but you could replace your freighter again if you want to upgrade from A to S later. It's honestly not a huge difference

Class only affects the maximum amount of tech & cargo slots you can have

Hell, I have an S class and I only use 30 tech slots. I've not found a need for any more yet, I don't think there's more tech I can install.
