There are known bugs where some of the mappings of mutlitple galaxies are merged, if I recall, that is one of them.

Yah, I first noticed the visited bug when looking at a "visited" star that was undiscovered... Related bugs seem to be when you are told there is Atlas interference in a system where there is no Atlas interface, and getting space storms of the wrong kind for the system where you are. Might be right in another galaxy 😉

They do, but any glyph set has a specific planet in the "box" that set of coords are in

Because the galaxies are of different types affecting their RNG tables, I think all the valid glyph addresses are still valid (and invalid still invalid) across all galaxies, but what the planet/moon that they are pointing to actually is varies. Hmm, research really needs to be done on that.

Systems are only unique in what each planet will be like, as an example I grind the SV Aroyo XIX derelict freighter in Euclid, the same planetary glyphs from that system in any other galaxy will have that same derelict

is farming animals just broken? I go to a planet with lots of fauna. place a feeder on a nice open space, make a base so i can stand nearby and not have despawn. go AFK for 30 minutes. no animals. yes the feeder has power and creature pellets

Ive seen systems say (visited) before on ones that I would have no way of ever being in (new galaxy) but I think I was still able to use them to jump.
The map for some reason copies over way too much in some spots.

I had used the all-glyph1 address to get near a distant galaxy's core (out in 100s somewhere if I recall), and was following the Galaxy Core route after I had flown toward the core (so not necessarily on the same route as from the Portal system: there are after all more than one core-edge system, so which route it takes depends on where you are on the spirals.) As I got close to the core edge I was looking for nearby undiscovered systems to claim... The core edge areas tend to be pretty well discovered, but out in the 100s and above, not as much.
As I went along, I was noticing some of the undiscovered systems were still claiming "visited". I assumed the bug was that the last galaxy I had been in (or at least some previous one) I had visited that system, and the "visited" mapping just wasn't being reset properly between galaxies.
As long as the discovery data was reliable, that was good enough for my purposes. I just started ignoring "visited".

Well, Imma tell u rn, this game is far from realistic. Black holes function like wormholes, gas giants are just rock giants constantly storming, and a quantum computer is much easier to obtain and less expensive than a quantum processor. That said, the game is still really fun, but if you're wanting a realistic experience, your hopes will be crushed.

Well in theory that could be explained away by some technology we don't yet have, like an invisible forcefield keeping the pressure inside at the door that you can pass through.
