On ps4 it runs mostly ok. Biggest issues are when mp is no and there are multiple corvettes. Hopefully HG will smooth out the performance in the future. Corvettes are still quite bugged feature.

Corvettes in multiplayer need to be fixed. I've been opposed to the mod bypassing part limits since corvettes were released and reported it to HG, but nothing yet. Hopefully next patch

A pro tip, NMS is a topic all AI's will be more often wrong about than not. For example Atmospheric harvester is a garbage way of getting anything, it's not reliable in any sense of the word as if you go too far from it the fuel and produced gas will be deleted

When you add a Terrain Manipulator to your Multitool (weapon), you can blast a tunnel into the ground and seek shelter inside the tunnel when a massive storm comes and starts hitting your health. FYI.

Hmm, if the planet has the "ruined" tag, it is more likely to have ruined structures. I'm not 100% sure Abandoned are always ruined, but it is worth a look. Ah, yes, on further review, "abandoned" tag are also commonly host to the ruins you need.

0-2 points for terrain/vegetation colors similar to Earth (so green/brown/yellow terrain score higher, most others knock a bit off)

Actually, here's a question: has anyone ever stumbled across a planet they discovered in a different save randomly in a later save? (I visited a friend's game who had made a base near some planets I discovered in an old save, and while wandering came back to them, but I don't think that counts. Nor visiting glyphs you might have saved from an older save.) I mean:

1. start a new save
2. wander
3. come across a system/planet you already discovered in another save

The odds are immensely against that...

Yah, even there immensely against. Sure, I find other player's discoveries all the time (mostly in Euclid or near the core of later galaxies), but even though starter planets are limited to a ring a certain distance from the outer edge and the inner core, the sheer number make it unlikely.

tbh gateway systems are some of the only places I've seen other people's names lol. took glass stars on all the extreme points and all but one of their shadow star counterparts were found by me, if that says enough about the scarcity of people

Yah, I saved the glyphs for my oldest surviving starter planet, which I named after my mother. It was a lovely place, and then a later release turned it into a fiery hellhole. Sorry, Mom. 😉

Well if you need a dreadnought you need to be the one that shoots it because Thain the "event" is yours and you need to have at least 3 hours of play time for it to spawn so if you have it just jump around in outlaw systems till it spawns.
