I don't like mine to be too large but I want it to have space for stuff...namely all the storage containers, weapon rack, refiner, nutrient processor, and at least four planters...not a huge plant farm but just some space to grow at least one or two of the necessary plants to make flour, sugar, etc. With some space to spare in case the corvette gets a galactic trade terminal or something more. Mainly if it comes down to it I want my corvette to do as much as it reasonably could if I had to take it to a place where I could not access my other ships, bases, or freighter for a while.

Just accepting quests from Gek station mission boards does not mean they are for the gek...they can be quests for the various factions too like traders, explorers, etc. Look at the icon next to the quest on the mission board before accepting...it needs to show a Gek head or it's not a mission for the Gek.

The last time I was able to use it was when I did that portal quest and it got damaged for some reason.

Mission board too of course, forgot to list it but yes, that's a must too. But overall I want my corvette to be as much of a portable base as it can be within reason...without trying to farm stuff on it but still have access to some plants that are essential for cooking, my storage containers, and such. I think the perfect spot is around 12 habitation modules, give or take a couple. My corvette has 14.5 habitation modules.

you need to get a freighter unless you already have one. summon all your starships one by one to the freighter, then remove their cargo, then archive them

now your corvette will be the only ship you have active, you should be able to warp to a station or base and summon it

There isn't a fixed time between expeditions...sometimes it's one after another and sometimes it's months. Next update and likely expedition is likely before the end of February but it could be next week or in March for all we know.

I've been playing since day one in 2016, and my main “1.0 save” file is still my main save, and for a little while I've noticed when I teleport out of a Station to somewhere and then try to teleport back (looking for the Station listed under Stations tab in the Teleporter menu), it's not showing any of the recent Stations I've been in and warped out of. The latest Station listed is in Eissentam, and I'm in Euclid as I've been exclusively for a while now – I've warped out of quite a few stations in Euclid and none are showing at the top of (or anywhere in) the list.

I used a old Expedition save and did a test where I warped out of a Station to a base and then warped to another system and then went to its Station and looked at the Teleporter Station list and there at the top was the one that I came from - as it should have been. This is not updating any longer in my main save.

Hmm...I still play my og save from 2016 every day and don't have this issue but I am also in a galaxy where I am not sure if anyone else currently resides. If anyone else lives there it's very few and I might even be the only one. This issue seems to be affecting the most populated galaxies but I don't know if that is the reason or not.

It sounds like you are using the ship swap button to summon your ship instead of the one that summons your current ship. Have you looked carefully through the available options in that menu?

The first two are just regular parts, nothing special about them. You can find them through salvage or the advanced trades. The third exists as an item you can salvage, but doesn't seem to show up when building. And the rest I think are all placeholder items that never got added.

By default, a hyperdrive jump takes 25% fuel capacity, which is equivalent to one warp cell, so the expensive fuel would make the warp cell fuel it to like 20% or something

You might be confusing what the warp fuel does? Its more for activating the hyperdrive, and the drive (and upgrades) range allows for a distance
