Holy crap it's finally done. I spent the better part of the last couple of days re-arranging my farms...those I haven't expanded on or changed since the PS4 days. They were perfectly functional but a bit of a mess...some of my biome flowers were split between different bases like half of my star bulbs were at one base and half at another and so on. They were making everything I needed but they were not well organized and I procrastinated on fixing them for years. Well, I finally did it, but man that was a larger undertaking than I thought it would be. My head hurts and I need some sleep, that was painful.

I always create projects for myself but even so I am quickly approaching the point where all I'll have left to do is settlement babysitting. Learned all the alien, languages, got all titles, saw all lore, etc. etc. And I've put many many hours into perfecting my ships, multitools, exocraft, etc. And when I can I prepare for possible future content. 1.25 million of that was glitched, the rest is legit. When QS was first added to the game there was a recurring mission you could play as much as you wanted, but eventually it glitched out on me and no longer dropped the items that I needed...but I was still missing one helmet...which was the thing I most wanted too...so I resulted to duping that item just to create a pool of quicksilver in case future QS missions glitched out. But I still do dailies and weekend missions and so on, so I constantly accumulate more. And I do weekend missions on a second save too...not always, but just enough so I can buy new items on the second save to unlock them for the main save without having to spend main save QS.

While this does not always happen (This depends on the syncing of the servers I believe) it is wise to buiild , any, and all bases above, not in, or on fauna, flora, or landmasses. It is even sometimes possible to fully appear inside the ground when teleporting to ones base.

I learned how to build bases under-the-map: the views are very strange but amazing. That happened when some terrain generation code changed and a lot of my older bases wound up buried. I repaired access to them all and in the process figured how to do it on purpose. With Short Range Teleporters, access to an under-the-map base works just fine.

You can get a much greater chance of landing the rarest fish building a settlement (not a base), and creating a 3-star fishing pond in it, though the ponds are a rare commodity you may need to build several of them to get one

1. Go to any galaxy that says "dissonant" in the description

2. Look for a planet that says "dissonance detected"

3)Fly around destroying any of these big purple tower thingies. Not the crystals. Youre looking for these things that look like lightning bolts on the map (you can also land if youre having trouble)

4. Keep doing that until you get an Echo locator.

5. use the echo locator

6. go to the place it tells you to and acccess the computer. Do the math equation and enter the answer into the screen

7. look up "dissonance spikes" and go to that place

8. repair the crashed ship at that location. Do what the quest tells you to

9. sell the ship for a buttload of money---like 30 million

3 Star Resources: Laylines

Laylines are lines of longitude (vertical lines that go from north to south)
that will have [3 star Resources](#nms-questions message) spawns randomly distributed on them.

When looking for spawns try to search by travelling West or East. North or South runs a risk of searching between laylines where no deposits spawn.
If you find a deposit all you have to do is to go straight North or South and you will most likely find more spots.

Hello looking for playing starting a new campaign

It's not required to return to the menu. The game auto saves at certain points. Worse that could happen is you lose some minutes of gameplay depending on when your last save was but getting in and out of your ship will certainly create a new save point. Allowing you to shut off your system or close the game and not worry about anything. So your situation is very peculiar in the sense that this isn't the usual behavior.

yeah i know, i was confused qhen i logged on this morning as to why i have no saves. But i did some research, turns out when you shut your xbox down the current autosave wont save correctly. Causing it to overwrite your current save and delete previous saves.

Assuming the autosave didnt work correctly as I powered off my xbox or something

Auto save and restore point are still 2 different saves, you should report this one - it's not a thing that should be possible

I'm not familiar with Xbox but if you have your own subscription for your account then as mentioned already your data should be backed up on the cloud. Completely untouched and unhinged by the local data on your console. So pulling it from the cloud where it's being stored on the server should restore it. This is the same on PlayStation as well.

i put it into AI, said it was a error thats occurred a few times and that the save has completely gone due to the autosave error i said. Straight up told me that i cant get it back even if i make a support ticket

I have no clue, but my saved data said 3.8kb of data and when i logged on this morning i pressed play, and it made me choose a new game mode instead of selecting which save

Delete any saves you have on your Xbox - making sure when you delete them you select only from this Xbox. This will force a resync to the cloud saves when you launch the game. Only do this if you do have an active live account that can save to their cloud.

Between a save point, a restore point, and a backup on the server, it's extremely unusual that all would be equally missing.

While you can't give them any save files, you can give them permission in the body of the ticket to access your saves. Include your Xbox gamertag if you do so.

Sweetroot, beans, wheat would be cool to grow from seed in the bases

Unlike planet specific crops (solanium, frostwrot, fungal cluster) those crops (sweetroot, wheat, etc) can be planted and grown on any planets

it expands farming (Bonus: those are farmable outside without needing hydro trays due to all planets compatible)

It's been one hell of a year for No Man's Sky huh?

We got gas giants and waterworlds, something the community wanted for years, while also getting more story.

Not only that, we got the Corvette update with the Voyagers, which was a game changer in every sense of the word, giving players the ability to make their own ships and absolutely mogging Starfield in the process.

And finally, the award Hello Games got at TGA, which has given us the opportunity to watch as new players are introduced into the game and are becoming involved with the community, sharing their experiences.

No one can tell you that. High gravity can be done, but I doubt it's on their list; I'm working on a mod to make variable gravity for planets. Terraforming is EXTREMELY unlikely.
