The drones are annoying but generally you can ignore them, the scanning turrets you can evade or if need be you can destroy them, and the pulsing sacks you can prevent from blowing up if you walk carefully and don't move when they are pulsing...at least if you're not close to them. You can even run in a room with sacks as long as you're not too close to them...you'll learn the distance and what you can get away with as you play more.

There is only one diurnal legendary fish and it's a gas giant biome fish...water on gas giants is pretty rare...finding it near a pole will take time and might not happen. You're better off just fishing where you can and afk during the nights.
