You can have golf class or cruiser at say 85 parts. But if it's long and sleek it's a cruiser. If it's shorter and a bit wider it's golf class

From my own experience, the tech shuffle doesnt happen randomly, but rather consistently under specific conditions, so keep an eye out for particular actions you may have done before the tech shuffled

If you don't use your Corvette for a while it's Tech will likely be shuffled next time you summon it

If you remove any of your essential parts it may likely reshuffle as well.

It will often stay the same if you change up any of your Tech and it causes it to shuffle. But if you haven't used it for a while and then you summon it that's what I think is happening

Nope. Expeditions mostly get one main run when they release and one redux at the end of the year they released in or start of the next. But other than that chances are very slim. Expedition 2 got a redux the past 2 or 3 years but that's mainly because of the cross marketing with Mass Effect. Outside of that only like 2 other expeditions got redux runs. So chances of seeing older expeditions again are generally slim overall.

Well I mostly keep my freighter specced for fleet speed support so my frigates can do their expeditions very fast...but that means my freighter warp range is only 5,044ly. I could spec it for warp range but would have to move all my tech around and that's annoying. It would be amazing to be able to have at least a second one specced for warp range so I could just swap to it when I want huge warp range.

If you finish the expedition, it will turn into a normal save and have the normal universe rules, so in short, yes it may change.

From the look of it, I'm guessing the final milestone clears the "sggresive sentinels" feature from planets here that are forced to have it, but I don't want to lose out on the dissonant loot by finishing it

Stasis device, you have to refine Condensed carbon and ionized cobalt but they are quick, can be done in your backpack and you don't need that many of them
