It just means you didn't spawn them in guarenteed event systems

they only happen in Pirate or conflict level 3 systems, pirate being more often, you just gotta warp into them on starships and see if they start an event, if they do, finish it, and then warp to a different system, then warp back to the event system, if it triggered event again, then it's guarenteed, if it doesn't, then it is not guarenteed

Pirate systems have the highest chance at 20%, conflict level 3 has 10%, but i don't recommend level 3 on the grounds that it happening on level 1 eco star is borderline useless so you'd really want level 3, but for S, pirate wins both ways for also having highest chance for S rank

Okay, so first I tell you...

I was in my home system "Ambanc". It has 2 blackholes and 1 paradise planet and 1 paradise moon.

I decided to set out into deep space to find the Atlas, I found it a few systems away. Did the thingie and made the first Atlas seed.

Then I decided to take a break. When I jumped back in, I had to go to another Atlas system, so I went, apparently I spawned on a frozen planet, I went into it's deep oceans to relax for a while and then the screen went all blue

I thought I would lose my 6 hour game

so I decided to blindly find my starship and get out of the planet

I used my visor

although the screen was fully blue

then even when i got out it was still blue

so i restarted it

then it was fine

You want to do trace of metal. This will unlock your AI Minotaur companion.

But you are now at the point where you can unlock purple systems. And for this you need to find a dissonant planet and source an echolocator. You find these by destroying dissonant resonators

Once you have an echolocator you will activate it, it will lead you to a camp and you activate a computer terminal there. The quest will move you along from that point

for base stats, differences don't matter for the most part. upgrades you put on the ship make the difference
