Hg has openly adjusted the game to make modding easier and to account for players with mods in updates.

Players won’t be banned for modding or save editing. I believe that’s person wishes the game to be played how they want.

a 3 star tech system I'm in sometimes gives back 2 sacs from exploration missions

but if you want a bunch I would recommend a pair of portable refiners and just dupe some stacks because yes...you will despair at how rare they are

it would take a while to max out the storage in a living ship waiting for them to drop 1 or 2 a week or so

first time it was a sac and not an egg I just stared at the screen

I have 10 of my 30 frigates as living/organic frigates so I'm sending 2 organics out with each group of 5 frigates

the trick to getting sacs is having at least 1 organic on a mission and its gotta be a long mission

I can't remember the cut off point but I think its gotta be at least 2500 lightyears

I didn't know Cyberpunk had something like that, but sounds interesting. I know Fallout 76 and Starfield show off your photos during loading screens, but NMS doesn't have a lot of loading screens so that probably wouldn't work. Instead a device that plays them at your base (or on your corvette) would be best.

Yeah it's based on system time. So it keeps moving along while you're not logged into the game. Anything that you have in refiners, kitchens as well.

Also don't ever change your system time to speed up upgrades if you get that idea. You run the risk of bugging out your settlement and causing yourself to go into extreme debt

It may be leading you to the emergency computer terminal in the center of the crashed freighter. A silver and red ball on top of some junk. Try and activate that and see if it kicks your mission off

Yes randomly buildings around you can be attacked by pirates. Trade Post and outposts for example. Killing the pirates reward you faction reputation.

It's an extremely rare event though. In my current save at over 300 hours I've only had it happen once

Because in no man's Sky what you are looking for will only come when you stop looking for it.

You can increase your odds by only sticking to yellow systems. Past that you're looking for something people spend hundreds of hours trying to find. And often never can. Because it's so rare to check all of those perfect Earth boxes.

A lot of times people want to jump into graphical issues and GPU settings to try and fix this. But oftentimes it leads them to realizing it's something related to cpu, CPU bottleneck, not enough RAM or something else related to the processing/memory side.

This game is extremely demanding on processing and memory. It doesn't like to share the computer with background applications. Alt tabbing will often cause lag and stutter.

The only VR headset on the market that offers true 3D VR on a PS5 is the PlayStation headset.

Every other headset is capped at 2D.

The only way to get around this is by doing remote play on your Playstation to your smart tv. And connecting your VR headset to your TV

Well you can only teleport to stations you visited. And you will be depleting their resources and crashing out their economy during the process. So repeat visits are not really advisable.

Do make sure that you're only selling to the NPC pilots not the trade terminal. So you don't affect economy value at least

I just bought a 5080 two weeks ago. I've been upgrading this PC in stages. Happily it's not been too bad. But now memory is off the chain due to AI. The $149 32GB of DDR5 I got in 2023 is now $400 for the identical sticks.

I'm not saying that's not neat af, but fishing does suck. Some of the rare fish I caught like 6 lunkers before the biome specific colossal fish would catch. It's a ridiculous grind

Does anyone know if the Fullscreen Warps 4.7 and the No Metrics Lines 3.5 mods are compatible with the current game version? According to the mods they are compatible but I cannot seem to make work the No Metrics Linees mod 🙁

As for whether they are working for current game version, that's very mod dependent

EXML based mods should be fine, MBIN based mods usually require an update

Remember you only need one of each Atlas part in your inventory and then turn on free crafting to craft as many of those parts as you want. As long as free crafting is on you won't lose the ones you're holding
