Sentinels don't scan your bases or your planters for contraband...they can only scan you for contraband when you fly your ship in space...but you can install a teleporter in your base and teleport to a station to sell them...or load them on one of the trade rockets if you have the tech.

You mean your technology? Or your base? Your installed tech does not transfer over but you can package it all up, move it to your exosuit, and then install it on the new freighter. As for your freighter base, you will be asked if you want it to move to the new freighter.

Black holes generally take you a bit closer to the centre each time . But it will still take a long time that way. The scenic route ... You will find lots of interesting places along the way

Black holes throw you way off from where you were. If your goal is to travel to the center of the galaxy, then yeah, they work, but if you're going anywhere else then no.

Teleporting to previous stations seems fine. I've been exploring the past couple of days and landed in like 5 stations to tag them...all are there no problem. I heard there was an issue if you moved between galaxies so maybe that is what's affecting you.

Ah, that's a creative way of farming cargo bulkheads lol. But I think you're putting more effort into this than it would take to buy and use emergency signal scanners once you have a solid way of farming units...and a solid unit farm works for maxing ships and multitools too and doesn't rely on an update not messing up the enjoy inventory seed and suddenly all your tagged envoys are useless.

1. Cargo bulkheads don't have unit equivalent (I think, I would love it if it did)

2. Finding the envoys is only more effort during the first trip, every trip after that it's much faster because you don't need to find them again, especially if you have them on your station teleport list

3. I already have a unit farm and will probably do scaling up, but even then, I still need 6b per starship roughly

Alsp 4. I am not a fan of derelict freighter exploring, did two, haven't done any since, especially when the second only gave the bulkhead at the end lol

Planets with salvage aren't that rare or that hard to find so it's mostly a non issue. Just don't land on either of those two planets. When they're merged like that just get out of there.

I don't think I'm using more than a quarter of the parts allowed by the build cap for my main save. Most of what I have built are my stasis device farms plus a couple others automating some other resources. Beyond that I have another 7 small bases that are mostly placemarkers....they don't have more than a small hut, landing pad, teleporter and some solar panels with a battery, just to make sure my teleporter stays powered.

Personally, my theory is the infestation is the virus killing the AI and that’s why it’s so prevalent everywhere.

Found my first paradise planed in permadeath. Not that ive been looking particularly. So I landed. The grass was red and I immediately got pounced on by an "electrical disturbance" which then decided to sit on my ship for quite some time. I think I can do better 😉

The NMS universe is just a bunch of scattered small settlements with the vast majority having awful living conditions the only form of order is also just a bunch of robots who will literally wipe out your entire bloodline if you do something that they deem shouldn’t exist

Yellow stars are your best chance for less hazardous world. The further you move up the star chart the more likely you are to run into hazards and anomalous planets

Found a giant with water depth over 300u...still not great and it's basically nothing compared to deep oceans but it hints that maybe more is possible. Deepest natural depth on a giant I've found so far is 326u.

I have just found a special Gas Giant though. I was mainly hunting for non-gas giants but I was keeping a look-out for something specific I wanted...a Gas Giant in a Korvax level 3 economy and level 1 conflict rating...and I just found it. But it's even better than I thought because this gas giant also has fossils. Not that I'll spend much time digging for fossils but it is something I haven't seen many gas giants have.
