You need to understand that authors aren't writing for every situation. They are writing for their own situation and sharing it, or making what people asked for. Just because it isn't balanced in your particular setup doesn't mean play balance wasn't considered

For example, some of my difficulty mods have versions that are insane, but because I thought it was good, but because people asked for it. Some of those people play with other mods that make them more powerful and they want difficulty while being overpowered

It won't snap horizontally to the other hab in that lower position. The vertical position will always take precedence. And it is very annoying

Weapon platforms the same way. Vertical placement always override horizontal placement there is another snap point near it
