An earlier universe revamp changed the fauna on my homeworld, and that had made me somewhat upset already

But it was crossplay where my discovery of the planet i literally spawned on was overwritten

At least they didnt rename it something stupid

all a ship needs to fly is working launch thruster and pulse engine. you can scrap a ship at the station for units/upgrades, or, if a fighter/explorer/hauler/solar sail, for a ship part that can later on be used when building a ship of that type

2. exotics have the same drop chance across all eco tiers, 1 in 301
3. you got lucky, and happened to be there when it spawned
4. it didnt come with a hyperdrive because you hvent unlocked it in the story yet, but you'll be able to craft one on it afterwards

depends on you. if the refining is reversible, then maybe you want to condense some resources so you can carry more.
like carbon can be stored as condensed carbon and then expanded back to carbon later when you need it, for a small cost of the fuel for the refiner backpack

if you fight pirates in space, you can get suspicious tech packages which will have X class modules as drops

do you know about forbidden modules that you get from sentinels?
you can have 3 tiered upgrades, like C, B,A,S, or X class
but there is another type of upgrades that you get from sentinels which lets you have 3 of those in addition to the tiered ones.
and they are not too hard to get either.
they work a little different though. you wont find any forbidden scanner upgrades for example, that I'm aware of
